You mean at the party section below?
Well, I just use some pics I can find at google or even at their respective series and use Photoshop to get rid of their background (make it transparent). After that, resize them to fit in ( the length is 150 while the width usually between 120-150).
Does this answer your question?

What I mean is how do I do that in the game when I'm making it? Or is that just something you added after getting screen shots?

Ah. Sorry, I kinda got confused there.
Well, what I said before in the first reply, I actually meant the facesets at the party section. Some facesets, I get them at google or watch/play their series and then save that picture (or capture the screen showing said picture with "PrtSc" key on your keyboard).
After that, you edit out the background picture to make them transparent by using Photoshop. Save those pictures to the Battler folder within the Graphic folder, then you should be able to use them in the RPG Maker engine and work them out for your game.
If you're going to make a screenshot with multiple shots like mine here, you capture the screen showing the battle scenario. Use Paint and make the background size larger, then paste the captured screenshot to Paint. You repeat the process until you finish the shots.
Hope this helps. If not, we can still talk via PM or my Skype account, and hopefully get yours done.
