Personally I felt he was a character with so much potential, but the writers of the Total Drama series wasted it. Many claimed he was just a sexist based off something he said in the first two part episode of Total Drama Island. And while he could've said something less sexist, let's think about his lifestyle. He's been home schooled his whole life and according to Chris raised by freaky Prairie People, so his social skills with people who get out more limits how well he can interact with people. Plus his sexist comment should be blamed by his father who according to Zeke said he should watch out for the girls in case they need help keeping up.

He had some redemption in the special Total Drama Drama Drama Drama Island, where he worked well with Beth and Lindsay in trying to find the money, but never made it to the second season. In World Tour they thought it would be funny to further derail Zeke by making everyone hate him for botching their chance at winning making them vote him off. And worse while he kept hiding inside the plane during the rest of the season, he eventually lost his mind and turned into a feral wild animal like Gollum. Chris even wanted to take every opportunity he had to abandon him in the wold or elsewhere. And in the sequels the cameos he had still featured him as a feral creature, like they didn't even wanna return him to his family.

Zeke could've been so much better than how the writers handled him.
