Here are two head shots of my original T-Rex character Aldin. And "Adventures in Dinosaur Forest" is the name of yet another unrealized comic I once wanted to do. I was going through my sketchbook and came across this....I had completely forgotten about it. He looks mean most of the time, but he can show emotion as you see in the right drawing. He is a good guy but has a bit of a temper.Related content

If you ever do go through with this, I promise I'll definitely read it. Though I get what you mean regarding those ideas. I've got whole novels that I mean to write at some point, almost three years later and the ideas only keep piling up.
Though, one thing that I find helps some when prepping for a bigger project is to do a smaller one, like a test-drive of a character or setting. Granted, writing it out's a bit different than drawing, but it could be done in a different way, like a test-comic-page or something of the like.
Just kind of a tangent there. This is still really good, and making me realize that I completely forgot to put that nasal cavity outline on some of my own guys...back to the drawing board.

I thought you might enjoy this character! I love making original dinosaur and reptile characters, this certainly won't be the last. Plus there is a need for more scalie good guys and destroy some of the stereotypes. Glad you like the design, I will be doing full body shots at some point.

What would be his job profession if he was in the Agency comic? Gym Teacher? Bunny Herder? Hosptial Nurse?

Probably the food tester/taster. Aldin really likes fruit and vegetables mixed with beef or chicken.

Nice. His first shot looks like he just saw the trailer for the "Land of the Lost" movie and the 2nd looks like he being scolded by a very mad parent.

If Alden did see that movie, there is no telling how much rage he would have. And I think I had one of the old comedy situations in mind for the 2nd expression. Like some kind of prehistoric chipmunk squeaking or yelling at him and he has to look way day in an apologetic way.
