It's a great sequel! 
(SPOILER) I wasn't expecting the Po and Tigress pairing (not really yet, but I think it will happen in forthcoming movies) but I thought it was a good and original twist.

I was really surprised by how good it was. Finally a worthy sequel to an amazing first film. I wasn't expecting that pairing either. In fact, I thought they would somehow bring a random female Panda to swoon him. That happens way too often in sequels.

That was my biggest fear about KFP sequels, the possibility of introducing the typical female version of the main character.
It already happened in Ice Age and I never liked it...it does happen way too often in sequels, glad they went for something different.

That is one of the main things that annoy me with sequels. KFP2 actually was refreshing and I am glad for that too. I already had the sequel figured out I thought. Po would end up teaching another long lost female panda Kung Fu, and then fall for her at the same time. I am glad it didn't turn out that cliche.

I saw the movie last night and I am so glad I did! It was really amazing and a worth followup to the original, I liked every single character. Great designs, will definitely have to draw more of the characters.

I really try to draw while imagining the characters personality and talking, etc. It really helps. And I'm actually halfway through it now at the theater. Definitely have to do art of all these characters, it's amazing!
