Mostly just another drawing of [link] with a few design changes - slightly lighter colours and hands changed.The story for him and Yol is still a bit convoluted however >< so this isn't an official comic page or anything despite it looking that way

Pfft, I started writing the story two years ago XD I'm still only got scattered notes. All in a book soley for this story, where I've dated each entry and they are dated 2013.

yeah, writing is tricky. I've been writing a lot of essays and papers as of late, so getting back into creative writing is hard. I'm trying really hard not to adhere to conventional plots or character arcs, but the problem with that is that people won't have familiarity to the mythology, and it's tricky introducing everything non-expositionally.
yeah and btw it's a graphic novel, so there's art~

I like the concepts of Hactyl and Yol, the designs are refreshingly unique. I look forward to seeing more of them.

Funnily enough, that idea came to me while i was at a chinese restaurant XD I saw the waiters and waitresses seemed to "Write" with their fingers on the reciept we get with all the food we order, they strike them out as the food comes to ensure we don't get duplicates or incase something gets left. So i decided to have a go with my own nails

Well, there are a few other things too XD Yol's name is a play on Yale, the company that makes the standard lock for most doors nowadays(? At least it is over here in the UK) While Hactyl is a play on Halcyon, in myth, it was a beautiful sea-bird with shimmering jewel like feathers.
