Everything went silent for a moment. The sound was lightly resonating through the ventilation system still, but it wouldn't be enough to alert any of them. One of the perks of having such acute hearing and such sensitive skin was that she could both hear and feel some of the most subtle vibrations in a time like this. She could feel the pitter pat of several soldiers marching below her and a few running down the hall. It went silent and she resumed her subtle scuttling through the cramped vents.

"Nyaaaa.... I'm not cut out for this sort of work..." She mews to herself in a voice only she could hear. She wriggled a bit, pushing her chest forward, squeezing it through the wide vent before crawling on her knees slightly to move forward. She could feel her knees pressing hard on the sides of the vent, she had little room, and occasionally she even felt her belly brush the bottom of the vent. "Nyaaa... I need to lose some weight.. it's official.." She growls to herself, once again pushing her breasts forward and maneuvering around a corner. She sighed as she saw about 100 feet more to travel before another turn and lay down on her front for a moment with an exasperated sigh.

"Fine then... Rock, Paper, Scissors." She remembered saying. Infinity shook his head, the whirring of parts in his neck whining as he did so. "No way girly, you always wait until everyone else throws theirs to throw yours out." He says. Katrina squeaked and looked away blushing. "D-do not, y-you're all just too fast is all..." she mewed sounding a bit bratty. Aitsu shook his head and put a hand on Infinity's shoulder, giving him an oddly expressive look from behind his goggles and mask. Infinity hesitantly looked at him and then to Katrina. He gave her the thumbs up, his usual rather quiet self and Katrina smiled sort of deviously.

Katrina prepared to fire away with a rock, however he held out his hand and then presented another hand with which he had 3 straws in. Infinity laughed. "Ahh... I see... Drawin straws... that seems... a bit more fair." Katrina's ears lay down and she pokes out her bottom lip again. She didn't want to say anything to start an argument, but she really did still like her idea better. Her ears stood up quickly again and she quickly stood up. "I-I Think I should go f-first!" She squeaked holding her hand up like a hesitant child waiting to get called on at school. Infinity and Aitsu glanced over at her. "W-well... I'm the only girl and all and.. um.. ladies first.." She mews softly. She was genuinely nervous to try and be so assertive in a situation like this, but at the same time she new if she drew first she'd have a higher chance of drawing a "Free" straw and thus she would spend the rest of the day relaxing and sifting through the rest of their rations.

Aitsu shrugged and Infinity sighed. "Yeah, sure whatever." He says. Aitsu holds his hand out rather dramatically for her and she blushes before thanking him quietly and eying the straws. This one? No... it has EVIL written all over it... that one? Maybe... this one, no, it's so non chalant it HAS to be a bad straw. She reaches out and grabs the middle one, pulling it out with great force and holding it above her head. Everyone glances up and stares at it for a moment.

It was colored red at the bottom.

Katrina's face fell for a moment as she heard Infinity laugh and Aitsu pat her on the shoulder. "Nyaaa! N-no... u-um best 2 out of 3 p-please!" She mews reaching for the straws whilst Aitsu keeps her at bay with his free hand. "A-awww...." She mews with a sigh. "Aww... oh well... guess it can't be helped."

She sighs and pushes herself back to her hands and knees and squishes herself forward. "Ok... If I go another 100 meters, I'll turn and then go another 50 meters.... And then I'll be in the room I need... I'll get the pictures of that thingy, move ANOTHER 50 meters, and then take the little files left behind, and then I'll have to wriggle back through while Infinity does his thing..." she mews to herself.

She feels a little prick on her breast and mews rather loudly, growling with tears in her eyes as she pulls a little thumb tack from out in front of her. "Nyahhhh... who the hell puts tacks in a friggen vent nyroooooon..." She complains with tears still in her eyes. "Can't get worse than this crap..."

She turns the corner and stops, blinking for a moment. She looked around and then back down the vent before scooting closer and looking in at it. "..... You... have got to be kidding me..." The rather large, unamused girl huffed as she looked the vent up and down again. It went on for a foot or so more, and then lifted, to be about 2 feet tall in all, compared to the rather generous 3 feet she had to work with at the moment.

She eyed the massive breasts that squished out in front of her and moved her knee, feeling her pudgy tummy squish against it as well as bumping her generous bottom against both sides of the vent as she did so, all at once proving what she had just thought.

"How the HELL am I supposed to get through here!?" She mewed to herself, quickly lifting a finger to her ear to contact her squad. "Aitsu, Infinity! W-what the h-hell guys!" She squeaks quietly, her voice echoing through the vent.

There was no reply at first, followed by Infinity speaking in the background. "Shit... yeah, I think she just found it..." he states before actually turning his attention to her. "Hey, Katrina, You just reached the 3/4ths point didn't ya? We just realized we'd misread the schematics, says here that-"

"I KNOW ALREADY!" She growls rather loudly.

"Sheesh, no need to get your little kitten themed panties in a bunch, we're gonna come up there and help you out, Aitsu has a plan, it'll be great trust me."

Katrina's ears lay down as she wriggles a bit, uncomfortable. "N-no! I don't like his plans! It better not involve any grease or anything like that Or I'll never forgive you all!" She growls sounding rather confident instead of her usual shy and submissive self. "Just try your best, and call us back if you actually get stuck, we'll like.. shoot the vent out around you so you fall out or something." And with that he ended the transmission, leaving a very cramped and a pissed off cat girl waiting for him.

Back at the camp Infinity sighed and turned back to Aitsu. "That was a pretty dirty trick you pulled back there..." He says with a little nod. Aitsu shrugged and glances over at the straws he had earlier, every one of them rigged to make sure Katrina was going to get stuck doing the mission. "You didn't.... misread that blueprint did you?"

Aitsu scratches his nose for a moment looking sort of embarrassed and then shakes his head. "Sometimes... a man has to follow his heart... " Aitsu says, breaking his usual silence.

Infinity glances back at him. "Huh? That sounded kinda deep..."

"And my heart said to stuff a busty girl into a small area and let her wiggle around a bit..."

Infinity deadpanned his expression, if in fact creatures of his species can do so.

"And thaaaat... just ruined it."

Regardless, I've been wanting to show a little of how they work from time to time. Aitsu is the coordinator of the team, as the leader he's good with tactics and such, but at the same time he gives off this air of inability that allows him to get the upper hand on people.

Infinity is the straight man of the group. I don't want to say Cool and Collected due to his ice affinity but he really is. He keeps the party together when they do something dumb.

Katrina really is kind of the odd one there, she's rather shy and meek in most situations yet still somehow finds the courage to be manipulative and annoying to her party from time to time, or sometimes (When she gets angry) Just downright bitchy.

However they work well together, infiltrating areas and returning with... whatever they need. Katrina just isn't good at... well... I don't even need to say it do I?

OK OK, SHE'S A LITTLE BIG TO BE DOING A JOB LIKE THIS. But... it's what she does. She doesn't necessarily like it but as that can opener bird says in the Flintstones "Ehh... it's a livin"

I needed to draw Katrina bein squished from the side, accentuating her curves whilst placing her in an odd location so that you could all see through the vent to see her... I also wanted to draw a suit of the steam powered armor that some of the soldiers wear on Urth. That stuff can be really faulty, but at the same time it can also be VERY durable, think of Samus's power suit just downgraded quite a bit and it runs off of a small, magically powered steam combustion engine in a mechanized clockwork backpack that generates power throughout the entire apparatus.

So enjoy Katrina's poor misfortune... and prepare for the next pic, it's gonna be a follow up to this one kind of, with a REALLY short story to go with it.
