I really like the traditional feel to this picture. The media helps the effect too. So much is digital nowadays (my work included) that it's cool to see something like this. i love you brush strokes too. And if they aren't really brushstrokes, then good job capturing that feeling plus the background works with your person. Not too detailed and off center so you don't get the feeling that its flat. Your focus point is just above the middle of the picture and the dragons motion leads your eye though the picture to the detail in her hair. the only negetive thing I'd have to say is that the BG is just a smidge too dark around her head and she blends a bit. but otherwise outstanding job <3

You're probably right about that. I always meant to color it but never could decide on a color pallet for it, and didn't want to part with the inking. Which would have brought in the pattern on the cloth blanket and wooden wall behind the screen.

no problem. I know what you mean about color though. i struggle with that a lot. But painting has helped a lot. Though that since I was in AP painting that i should actually paint something for once <3
