This is a drawing of my horse Wrapper.When I was younger I was told a native american story about how thunderstorms were created by horses running around in the clouds. It just so happens that right after I had to put my horse down (he had foundered) there was a thunderstorm. It reminded be of the old indian story and I have to say it was the first time I was happy to hear thunder because it was like he was finally able to be happy and run around like a normal horse. But at the same time I'm an athiest so I know that it would be impossible. I guess that sorta ruins it.

Be it god, fairies, or atmospheric pressure, thunderstorms are very moving for anyone. If you think of Wrapper everytime it thunders, then it doesn't matter now, does it!

well, i think you can believe it even if you're an atheist- after all, the story never mentions any god, or heaven, or anything like that. it's like the horses just became part of nature again, which is what happens to us (our physical forms, anyway) when we die anyway. i like that story, i must say i've never heard it before!
