this is an emote for my cyber-husband (which means it's not real
) =ipholio 
he wanted a poof emote, and bugged me repeatedly, even though he's good at emotes himself 
that's what happens when you tie the cyber knot 
well, I'm still sorta working on this, but I wanted to be able to use the thumb in chat so I could bug more people to make recomendations
I'm not setting this at advanced critique because generally I'm making it according to ipholio's description, though you can give a few pointers if you want, and I'll see if he likes the idea.I know I'll get a few people commenting about the smile; that's something I'm working on
I've never done smiles too well, some might perhaps (maybe) notice I hardly ever have more than a half smile in my emotes, like in 
Another thing people've pointed out is the smoke. Since poofing is more of an imploding sensation vs. exploding, the smoke goes inwards rather than fading away. Though I'm still messing with the speed and effect of it, and I'd like to mention I'm using one of =budgieishere 's emotes as a reference (as ipholio specifically said he liked the way it went).

I'll give you a slight critique, since you didn't want too much.
The smile certainly does look odd, especially such a huge grin. A more sinister smile may have done the trick a bit better, or a smug one (as I've noticed in a couple of comments). It's always a tough one to accomplish with only a couple of pixels to play with. Perhaps some 
The smoke is done quite well, and I feel kinda flattered that you used mine as a reference. I feel if you're going to stick with the imploding smoke, maybe speed it up just slightly (maybe remove a frame or two) as the smoke seems to linger a tad too long for me. The pixel work looks smooth though, which is good to see.
I gotta say the length of the emote is refreshing, and it shows diversity in styles. Good job on that.

Overall I'm fond of it. Nice colour usage, simple yet well pulled off. My main dig is the smile, but you knew that already.

hmm...I'll start with the eyes. I certainly thought about it, but ipholio said he wanted something along the lines of it casually glancing around, giving a fake smile, and poofing.
The smile, like I mentioned, is a hard thing for me, it's always been something I was never good at, but neverless I'll try fixing it. But like I said, it wasn't really supposed to be an evil smile, more of a fake smile, which makes it significantly harder to pull off. (for me, anyways)
The smoke was quicker before, and I only changed it on request
