Lucy and Margo got into a massive argument after she discovers that Gru had accidentally told her about his backstory which he wasn't supposed to.

Gru: [laughs nonchalantly, clears throat] Did I say that? I don't… I don't remember. Or...have I?

Lucy: [furious] That's it! Margo, you are NOT leaving this island.

Margo: [also furious] You can't make me stay here! You're not the boss of me!

Lucy: Actually, I am. Look, Margo, you've got everything you want right here.

Margo: Except for one thing.

Lucy: And what's that?

Margo: Freedom.

[Lucy lets out a gasp of shock as Margo storms into the house and slams the door]

Gru: You know, she is a lot like you.
