Okay, may I have an author moment?
Five years Later
Jack flew to the window at hearing the singing. I know that voice, he thought to himself. He went up the tower and opened the window. The girl was turned, facing the fire, and her hair was glowing a golden light, creating and penetrating warmth to the old tower. She stopped at feeling a cold rush fall upon her. She shrugged and continued to brush her hair, and it started glowing like the sun again.
Jack stared at the girl, and was annoyed by the feeling he often got. Bits and pieces in his mind, it was there, but then gone. Jack walked up slowly to her, but stopped when he made the wood creek beneath him. The girl turned around. It took him several seconds to realize that she was looking at him.
"Jack," she said softly. He gasped quietly to himself. She rubbed her eyes, and then reopened, but there he was standing right in front of him. It can't be, she thought.
"Yu-y-you, you see me?" Jack said surprised. "Wh-who are you?" Heartache struck the girl.
"You don't remember me?" She asked in a shaking voice, standing up from her stool.
"Have we met before?"
"It's me...Rapunzel." Tears filled her eyes, and a cold stone hit her heart. "You don't remember..."
Jack didn't know what she was talking about. He didn't know what to do or say to Rapunzel. He felt like he should know her, but he...he didn't. Who was this girl, and why did he want to know her more?
