Description
This was a commission done for quickxyk and vantid.Morning light reaches over the mountains of the spirit lands. The Shaman performs a special rite of the gift of another day and new beginnings. He remembers the wisdom of his ancestors keeping the spirits close to him and memories alive.

This is so incredible. I'm amazed with the details! I love how you were able to get the small designs into the coat and add little textures onto the feathers. Also, it's awesome how many strands you were able to put in there. Good grief the more I look at this thing, the more I'm awed by all of the small details. You even put small swirls on the bowl. It makes me wonder how long this took you! It's incredible, thank you for posting it!

I'm not sure if this was intentional or not--if it was, huge kudos to attention to detail and if it wasn't, something was guiding you beautifully in your creation! The ceremonial feathers the character is holding and wearing look like red tail hawk feathers, BUT the black barring on the feathers is nearly exclusive to red tails native to the western US, as are the magpies. The continuity and symmetry there is wonderful, as is the whole piece. Love this, thank you for sharing.
