It has been a very long time since I last drew a picture that was Okami-related. And because so, I have not drawn wolves in a while either.So this was a nice change of pace. I know I have improved since the last time I've drawn Amaterasu, so I decided to give this scene another chance.
Okami is a beautiful game. This one particular scene always makes me cry. It was so powerful and moving.

I have to disagree. In Okamiden, it says that.
But not in the original Okami. It was very clear that Amaterasu and Shiranui are the same exact wolf god.
"Shiranui" was just a nickname given to her when she fell from the Celestial Plain with Orochi.

Okami is the first one. (Okamiden is the "sequel" kind of).
I prefer the Playstation 2, or Playstation 3 HD version of Okami. But the Wii version of it is okay. They're all the same, just on different systems. Definitely give it a play.
