Does your scanner make your prints naturally that light or do you draw them that way?
I've always noticed how "light" your artwork is that's all...nothing wrong with that!

this one is actually light cause i had sucky colored pencils...and when i took a pic of it ( i have to use a digital camera cause our scanner wont seem to work) the light from the flash reflects on the pencil so all of my drawings turn out lighter... kinda sux being poor white trash
