It could be. However, the Regular Show does make a lot of references to different TV shows and maybe even webcomics, so I'd like to think that it's one of those things they put in there to see if people caught it or not.
But it could also just be one of those coincidences that I took too seriously.

Fun fact: Adventure Time makes Homestuck references as well. They have a Bucket Knight. AND the Fionna and Cake episode made a reference to REALLY TALL PANTS. And there's this board that the animators draw on at the studio, and there was a picture of Jade on one of them aaaaaaaaaa ALL MY FAVOURITE THINGS ARE COMING TOGETHER.
