Description
A trio of female Mini-Cons who specialize in guerilla tactics. They hold to the belief that Mini-Cons will never be free as long as there are Decepticons around, and as such seek to ally themselves with the Autobots.
Combusta: the de facto leader of the Sonic Assault Team, acting as much a mother as a military leader. She keeps the hot-headed Falcia in check and the airheaded Twirl out of trouble. She's normally a very kind and generous soul, but she gets extremely violent should someone threaten her charges. An angry Combusta can make even Falcia look demure. Combusta also appears to have incredible technical skill. To those who can understand the Mini-Cons' binary language (or when the upgraded Mini-Cons speak in "normal" language), Combusta has a very thick Hispanic American accent, littered with expressions like "Mija/Mijo-Con" and "Pobrecito-bot".
Falcia: tough as nails and won't let you forget it for one second. She is obstinate, snappish, quick-tempered and standoffish. She and Redline have a long history of butting heads over their shared goal of Mini-Con freedom; while Redline feels it's best to find a haven away from the "Bulks", Falcia believes (quite vocally) that the Mini-Cons should join forces with the Autobots and destroy their tormentors, the Decepticons. It's such a Moonlighting thing. Despite her attitude and behavior, it is clear she cares deeply about the Mini-Con race and will risk her life to fight for them. She has a deep respect for her team leader Combusta, and even though her other teammate Twirl is a constant target of verbal jabs and the occasional threat of violence, Falcia has gone to great lengths and extreme peril to save her life. To those who can understand the Mini-Cons' speech, Falcia speaks with an incredibly thick accent similar to Italian Americans. She is not Twirl's mother in any way, and she will kick you in the gearbox for even suggesting it.
Twirl: the youngest and least serious member of the Sonic Assault Team. To many, she is a flighty, featherbrained ditz who is more interested in dancing and interior design than anything else. They are so right. To those who can understand Mini-Con speak, she has a chirpy, airheaded manner. Despite this, she is a valued member of the Team, even though Falcia constantly cuts her down verbally. Twirl takes it all in stride, as she knows deep down Falcia cares about her. She's also formed a bond with the Autobot Ravenus. Her weapon mode is incredibly powerful; it's possible the main reason she's on the team is simply so she doesn't fall into Decepticon hands. Twirl is not Falcia and Redline's daughter, no matter what Twirl thinks. Both Falcia and Redline flatly and vehemently deny any claim of parentage. Falcia gets rather violent at the suggestion.
