Chapter 1: A Storm at Sea Part 2: Beach Cave

“Well, I do beg your pardon” the Koffing said while he pushed Sparky. He then laughed as he saw the Relic Fragment fall onto the ground. Koffing signalled Zubat to pick up the Relic Fragment.

“Hey! Why’d you do that!?” Sparky asked picking himself up off the ground and staring at Koffing and Zubat who were still laughing at him.

“Heh-Heh-Heh-Heh. Can’t you figure it out? We wanted to mess with you! Can’t face up to us, can you!?” Zubat laughed as he saw Sparky suddenly lighten up “That’s yours, isn’t it” Zubat asked as he turned to the Relic Fragment.

“No! That’s…!” Spark squirmed as he saw Zubat fly over and pick up the Relic Fragment, struggling to hold it due to him not having arms.

“Sorry Kiddo, we’ll take that” Zubat laughed as he continued to struggle with the Relic Fragment and once he almost dropped it “Whoa, not going to make a move to get it back, are we?”

“What’s the matter? Too scared? I didn’t expect you to be such a coward!” Koffing laughed as he stared at Sparky, then he noticed that Jordon was stood there looking and poking his tail “What a weird Pokemon. Common Zubat, lets get out of here”

Zubat nodded his head as he turned to Koffing “See, you around Chicken” Zubat laughed as he flew into a small cave aside the beach, shortly followed by Koffing. Sparky watched them as they flew away with his treasure.

“Wh-what am I going to do?” Sparky asked Jordon, while he was turning around though, he saw Jordon messing around with the hand on top of his tail “Are you listening?” Sparky squeaked.

“What? I mean… Yes, course I am; you got your thing-a-ma-bob stolen and you cried” Jordon sighed as he knew he had said something wrong “I didn’t mean that! Sorry”

“Yeah, that thing-a-ma-bob you talked about, it’s my personal treasure… It means everything to me” Sparky sobbed, beginning to cry a little as he wiped it off quick “So, no wonder I cry! Because if I loose that…”

“I’m really sorry” Jordon said running up to Sparky, still wobbling; still not used to his new feet and arms “I’ll help you get it back! Common, lets go after them, together”

Sparky wiped more of his tears away “Yeah! There’s no time to waste, let’s go!” Spark cried grabbing Jordon and grapping him into the cave, causing him to wobble along waking himself with his tail.

Sparky and Jordon walked into the cave to see a small lake, they walked up to it to see no way around the lake. They looked around again, there was no sight of Koffing or Zubat either.

“Well, it’s no fun when you’re chasing someone who can fly over a lake!” Jordon said sarcastically “We’ll never catch up; they’ve made it over the lake already!” Jordon turned around to see Zubat and Koffing trying to sneak by them.

“They didn’t even make it in before us?” Sparky said looking towards Zubat and Koffing in a confused face, he then walked up to them “Uh… Hey!” he cried getting their attention.

“Well, well…” Koffing sighed, trying not to look scared; as he was trying to sneak around still “If it isn’t our old friend, the big chicken” Koffing began to laugh again, while Zubat dropped the Relic Fragment on the floor.

“Hey, he’s not a chicken!” Jordon cried “We’re here to get back the Relic and we’re not going until we get it!” Jordon’s tail suddenly pulled a fist and he began to assume a karate pose.

“Give me…” Sparky hesitated for a moment, this was to much for him though he soon found a small amount of courage “Give me back what you stole from me…! That’s my personal treasure, it means everything to me!”

“Treasure, you say?” Zubat said looking down at the Relic Fragment “So that thing really is valuable, it could be worth more than we really hoped for, I’d say” Zubat began to pick up the fragment again.

“We ought to try selling it. Who knows? It might be a good price” Koffing laughed to himself again “Whoa-ho-ho! All the more reason to not give it back!” Koffing turned to Zubat, making sure he hadn’t dropped the Relic Fragment.

“Whaaat!?” Sparky cried “Give it back… Please!”

Zubat appeared to think for a moment before saying “Well, if you want it that badly…” Zubat paused for a moment “Come and get it! Heh-Heh-Heh-Heh…!”

“Well-” Sparky hesitated, thinking hard to see if it was the right thing “I don’t want to face-”

“We accept!” Jordon cried, interrupting Sparky “We’ll get it back from you, the easy, or the hard way…”
