A very dramatic portrait. One thing bothers me though and that is the ray of light and the light on the figure don't seem to be quite in synch. She's beautifully lit, but not the way she would be if there really was that strong backlighting and no other light source apparent. I say that because the dark shadow on the top of the shoulder means the light source should not be hitting her face and neck, yet it is.

Thank you for the comment, I appeciat eit. Actually the ray in the back wasn't meant to be an actual light source but more a way of breaking up the darkness between the character and the background
