Description

Trakadar, born Traka Dar, was a black dragon born into the Dar clan. Son of Jaled and Harla Dar, brother of Phara and Fraka, he witnessed and partook in the Sebilisian war alongside the Ring of Scale. He has a particular hatred for iksars after the pyrrhic conclusion of the war and fled to Velious alongside his mother and brother after the bloody war. His brother went missing, and it was discovered that the whelp dragon had been killed and eaten by a necromantic dragon, Zlandicar. Driven mad by revenge, Trakadar sought out this cannibalistic dragon, only to be taken under his wing, as the elder brood dragon could sense a willful and dark spirit in the young dragon.

Over time, Trakadar had become a powerful dragon amongst the Wastes, and in a display of power and revenge, broke one of the core laws of dragonkind: killed Zlandicar and feasted on his remains in a mad attempt to absorb the slain dragon's abilities. Fear spread through the Wastes as dragon and wurm alike were hunted and eaten by the black dragon, driven by a mad hunger that couldn't be sated. Once Yelinak's crusaders and Vulak's council discovered Trakadar's intent of infiltrating the Sleeper's Tomb to kill the Warders and attempt to defeat Kerafyrm himself, they ambushed him in the Eastern Wastes and trapped him in ice. A temporary solution, but one he'd eventually be able to break free from. The dragon sages worked on a powerful curse that couldn't be broken by any magic, not even their own, and forced the black dragon into the form of a man.

They must have assumed he would freeze to death in this new feeble body, and they would have been right were it not for a wandering band of Coldain that rescued him and gave him shelter and warmth. He struggled to walk on two feet and came to terms with how weak he was in this form. Hatred burned through him and he longed to be a scourge on dragonkind once again, shunning the all-mother Veeshan in service to Innoruuk.
