Description

“W-Where the hell are we anyway?” Richard panted, wiping his brow as Hunter and Kevin spread out on the odd plateau before them. The three men had broken away from the others, running toward the edge of the cliff once they’d made it this far. Four more were left by the odd hills a few hundred yards back. “Water? Anyone have a little fucking water?” Richard griped, falling to the soft earth and sprawling out. The air was cool, but still…the sky above had no stars…must have been cloudy. “So do you s-”

“Shit! No, man I don’t yet. So please shut the fuck up for just…like a second! Can you give me one second here?” Kevin yelled over his shoulder.

“You want to go, man?” Richard shouted back from the ground; he tried to get up only to lose his balance and fall hard onto his back. Thankfully, the weird moss under him was surprisingly comfortable and took the blow, but there was almost no foundation beneath it. Or at least that’s what it seemed.

“Richard, get off your ass. If you two have the energy to fight then use it to try and figure out where the fuck we are,” Hunter said sternly, not taking his eyes off the horizon.

It had been two hours since the travelers woke up in the darkness at the base of the mountain. Lost, confused, and scared they made the decision to climb up for a better look…it had been Hunter’s idea. Get up high and see if he could find lights from anything around them. Ever since he woke up though, one thing after another sit badly with him. No wind…no sounds of nature at all actually despite the landscape seeming desolate. Everyone managed to make the climb because the overgrowth was surprisingly structured, though Hunter nor anyone else had seen plants resembling what they scaled ever in their life. Even then, it could be explained…but now a few other things were becoming apparent to Hunter. There were no stars…no moon…no clouds, hell it looked like there was no sky! What’s more, now that he was staring out at the vista before him, he couldn’t explain why, but the shapes off in the distance all seemed familiar. Regardless of the bad feelings, the experienced hiker felt his heart sink when he realized that not only could he not figure out where they were…it looked like there wasn’t a town for miles. Nothing but an inky darkness seemed to stretch out for as far as the eye could see.

“Do you see anything?” Richard asked, having come to the edge of the plateau with the others.

“No…nothing on this side. Hunter?” Kevin asked, his voice tinged with anxiety.

“Nah. It’s official, I don’t have a fucking clue where we are anymore,” Hunter said, falling onto his backside and groaning.

“How could this get any worse?” Richard whined…He got his answer not even a second later.

It all took place in an instant. The ground came alive under the three, sinking down before surging toward the starless sky. Richard and Hunter were able to grab hold of the odd moss since they were laying down, but Kevin wasn’t so lucky. While the other two held on with all their might, Kevin suddenly found himself floating through the air. Dazed and confused, he tried to put together what was going on while the world spun around him. He tried righting his body in mid-air, twisting and turning against the wild inertia acting upon him. For a split-second, he was actually successful; at the top of his arch, Kevin was afforded a split-second of clarity, his view stretched out across the landscape. The mountain-range he and the others had hiked along extended before hi- Wait…did it just move? There wasn’t enough time to process as gravity once more took hold of the stunned man and began dragging him back to earth. Wind rushed past his body, screaming in his ear as Kevin looked down to see that he’d been flung over the edge of the plateau. Looking up, his eyes locked with Richard’s for a fraction of a second…then he disappeared from sight.

“S-Shit! Shit! Kevin!” Richard yelled, scrambling forward toward the edge.

“Richard, stop!” Hunter cried, still gripping the mossy ground. Richard ignored him and rushed to the edge. Maybe Kevin caught onto a branch, or there was another landing underneath this edge. Something must have caught him…anything! Now at the edge of the cliff-face, Richard felt his heart seize in his chest. Slowly, he looked over the side, praying he’d see Kevin holding onto something and cursing at him for not coming to help him faster. Instead, there was only darkness. Richard felt tears start to well up in his eyes; he couldn’t even see the bottom of the cliff from here…much less his friend.

“S-Shit! What the fuck just happened?!” Richard screamed, pulling at his own hair. His brain was firing on all cylinders trying to figure out how the ground had sprung around like it did…but none of it made sense! Nothing that had been happening to them made any sense! Turning around, Richard took only three steps before he looked up and saw what Kevin had seen just before he fell…the mountain range was moving. “Hunter! Hunter, move! We have to move!” Richard screamed, pointing at the shifting peaks in the distance as he ran to retrieve his surviving friend. The ground was already starting to move underneath the distraught pair once again, though much slower than last time. Hunter had gotten a lot further away from Richard than he’d originally thought. Maybe because of the odd quake? It didn’t matter now, all that mattered was that Richard and Hunter got back to the others before the mountain-range behind them collapsed. “Hunter! Get the hell up! Behind you!” Richard shouted, noticing one of the strange peaks near his friend rising higher…and starting to turn?

“What the hell is…your….pr…” Hunter began, only to feel the sentence die in his mouth as he noticed a large shadow begin to swallow him. Turning slowly, Hunter was given only a moment to see the mountainside falling on top of him. He didn’t even get a chance to scream before it crashed down onto his body, crushing him.

“No! Hunter!” Richard shouted. Consumed by grief and confusing, the hysterical hiker didn’t pay attention to the footing shifting under him. The ground was ripped out from under his feet, making Richard crash face-first into the odd moss once more. He gasped as the wind was knocked out of him. Gripping the moss, Richard felt his body still moving…no, the ground was still moving! Tumbling as the moss continued shifting, the last man standing saw the full mountainside was shifting…rolling…it looked like it was alive. A low groan filled the air as the peak of the mountain continued to rise, the curving dome rising to twice its original height. Then, in slow motion, it came down. It came down right where Richard, Hunter, and Kevin had left behind the rest of their group. Nausea overcame Richard; the man was broken mentally from the unexplainable turn of events. He watched another peak begin to rise in the darkness, a new mountain rising out of the abyss. Something was off though…the strange black moss was sliding off the mountainside to reveal…gold? Before Richard could begin to figure out what he was seeing, a wave of moss swelled up and swallowed him up. He screamed, but no help would come for him. Trapped in the darkness, the sole survivor would slowly suffocate…completely unaware that he and his companions weren’t lost in some strange foreign country, or an alien land. No…Richard, Hunter, Kevin, and several others were in a young woman’s bedroom…Kendal’s bedroom.

“Glasses,” the drowsy blonde mumbled. Unaware of the dozen or so lives that had just died under her, Kendal blindly groped at the surface of her nightstand. Yawning, she felt her fingertips brush against the thin metal frame. Her fingers inched forward, trying to get a good grip…and narrowly missing Ashley.

The young woman on Kendal’s nightstand had the benefit of knowing where she was thanks to waking up trapped between a massive pair of glasses, an alarm clock, and a cell-phone the size of a football field. That was where her luck ran out though. She’d pressed herself to the thin metallic frame of Kendal’s glasses, just around the rim in hopes of getting the giantess’ attention when she put them on. Unfortunately, Ashley had not accounted for the frame being so thin; the tiny woman had almost nothing to hold onto as Kendal’s fingers yanked them roughly from the table. There was no time to get a proper grip on the frame. Ashley was flying through the air before she knew it, screaming the entire way. Her hands already burned as she gripped onto the metal bar with what little strength she could muster. Somehow, she managed to hold on until Kendal slipped the glasses fully onto her face. A small glimmer of hope now shone before Ashley, if the tiny woman could get in front of the lenses, she might be able to attract the giant woman’s attention.

“Hmmmm…bathroom” Kendal grumbled, swinging her legs over the side of the bed. The drowsy giantess still had no idea that her room was now hosting several new guests…nor that one of them had hitched a ride on her glasses. Her toes pressed against the cool hardwood, sending a small chill up her back as she grunted and pushed herself up off the bed.

Lift-off wasn’t something Ashley had been prepared for. The tiny woman had been trying to shimmy across the metal bar when Kendal lifted from her bed. “Ah!” she squeaked as she lost her grip on the bar. Terrified, the little thing screamed at the top of her lungs on the way down…something that finally caught Kendal’s attention.

“Hello?” the giantess said sleepily, turning her head and swallowing Ashley up in her dirty-blonde hair. She was all at once thrust into a thick forest of thick, smooth, golden vines. Still in free-fall, Ashley yelped and tried her best to grab onto the strands to try and slow her fall. If she could just grab hold of one, then maybe she’d be able to climb back up! The tiny girl’s hopes were dashed by Kendal a moment later. Yawning, the giant blonde swung her hair back…Ashley was consumed in the sudden wave of flowing hair. It was like getting swamped in the middle of a raging river after a flood. She was whipped at constantly with Kendal’s thick strands of hair; in the flurry, Ashley didn’t see the one thing she should have been watching out for come flying at her. It was a single strand of hair that had gotten kinked up and slightly knotted so that it made a small, golden loop. Tossed around in the golden maelstrom, Ash didn’t see the knotted loop till it was fast around her neck. There was a small snap…and then silence as Ashley hung limply in the giantess’ hair. Kendal’s death-count was rising. At least 12 had been killed when the giantess rolled over, and now she could add one more to the total…a hanging by hair. Of course, the giantess still had no idea what she was doing. There was only one thing she cared about; getting to her private bathroom.

The cold tile felt pleasant on her soles. She flicked on the light, but instantly squinted. Too bright. Shuffling forward blindly, she felt around till she found the toilet. Yanking down her shorts, Kendal kicked them away and took a seat…unaware that in this room too, she wasn’t alone.

“What are we supposed to do?!” Jen hissed, yanking on Tyler’s arm.

“Just keep quiet!” the young man shot back.

“Don’t yell at her! We’re all freaked out!” one of the older woman hissed.

“You wanna get caught by her?!” Tyler replied, in a harsh whisper.

“Everyone shut the hell up! We can’t risk getting caught climbing down, so we’ll wait for her to leave! Just find a hiding place!” Bri said, her voice still trembling. Looking over to the three who were still holding onto the floss, trying to brace it, she waved over at them. Signaling as best she could, she told them to drop it and follow the rest of the group. They were more than happy to oblige; more than half the people still trapped on the counter had run for hiding spots the moment the giantess walked into the bathroom. Bri crouched down next to the liquid soap dispenser just as the roar of the toilet getting flushed roared in her ears. Closing her eyes, the tiny woman was just begging for Kendal to leave before things got any more complicated…her biggest fear since they realized what had happened to them was someone normal mistaking them more bugs. As much as it hurt to admit…standing about a ½ inch tall on a bathroom countertop…it was hard to think of anything she could be seen as that wasn’t a bug. A small tremor ran through the ground as Kendal rose from the toilet, sleepily brushing against the counter. The unintentional quake made a few of the hiding tinies shriek; Bri silently cursed all of them in her head. If she got caught and crushed because of them…she was going to haunt their asses.

Yawning, the giant blonde stretched and slowly turned around, taking a slow two steps towards th-

“Huh?” Kendall said, rubbing her eyes as she saw something small dart between a few bottles on the counter. She felt a small chill run down her spine…she kind of had a thing for squishing bugs…but this late at night they were just little pests. Taking a slow step back over, Kendal froze as she heard something squeak…from the floor. Bugs didn’t squeak, at least none of the ones she’d ever stepped on. Slowly, the giant blonde looked down; she immediately proceeded to nearly swallow her tongue. A small shriek burst from Kendal’s mouth as the giantess hopped backwards onto the sink counter. Her eyes bulged a little as she felt three small crunches under her butt. Kendal’s heart was already hammering so quickly, she thought it would pop; part of her already knew what she was going to see as she slowly turned around and glanced down at the counter. Like dozens of little insects, Kendal saw her sink was infested with the same kind of human-shaped bugs that had crawled out onto her tile floor. “What the fuck!?” she gasped, pushing herself off the counter with all the strength her arms could muster.

Bri was knocked to the ground from the tremor that rippled through the ground when Kendal’s feet touched the tile floor again.

“W-What should we do?!” Tyler screamed, peeking out from behind a tube of toothpaste.

“Run! Just run!” Jen yelled. The tiny brunette burst from behind her hiding place and began running along the counter-top toward the floss rope.

Kendal couldn’t believe the scene unfolding before her eyes. There must have been over fifty of the little things between those on the counter and those scuttling away on the floor. Her hand gently brushed against her butt, feeling along the firm, warm skin for a trace of what she’d sat in. A small shiver went down her spine as her fingertips suddenly dipped into a warm, sticky liquid that seemed to cling to her butt. The giant blonde bit her lip to try and calm her frayed nerves before examining the substance now clinging to her fingers. She held her hand up in front of her eyes and felt her lower stomach twist up...the pad of her pointer-finger was crimson…it was blood! Her eyes swung back toward the sink. There, three little red splotches painted the counter-top. Splotches, that some of the bugs were either running toward or away from in a panic. Three little human-shaped bugs had been crushed under her butt. The thought alone seemed to steal the air from Kendal’s lungs; only it wasn’t guilt or nausea that was overtaking the blonde. It was excitement.

“W-Wait! Don’t run guys!” Kendal said quickly, not noticing the big smile that had spread across her lips as the giantess’ hands reached for Jen and the others. If this was just a dream, Kendal hoped she never woke up from it. Her fingers knocked down one of the fleeing bugs; the tiny thing writhed on the countertop, unable to even put up a fight when the massive digits descended upon her. Using all the concentration she could muster, Kendal’s lime-green nail soon had the tiny man’s leg caught between them. His screams of pain and terror stopped several right in their tracks. Those on the countertop turned around and felt their breath catch in their throats...the giant young woman had caught a man by the name of Henry. He reached for the counter-top, desperate to latch onto anything, but it was too late; Kendal raised the little man to her eye so quickly, his ears popped. “Whoa…you are…you’re so tiny! Oh my God, it’s freakin’ adorable!” Kendal gushed, not noticing the trickle of blood running down Henry’s leg thanks to her sharp nails digging into him. Henry noticed though, and the tiny thing’s screams only served to make Kendal giggle. “Awwww, scared of heights little guy?” Kendal said as she brought the tiny thing closer to her face…only as she finally got a good look at Henry, the giantess gasped and nearly dropped the little guy. “Mr. Gardner?”

“K-Kendal! Please! You’re hurting me!” the tiny man screamed, staring into Kendal’s wide eyes. Henry wasn’t just any tiny person…he was one of Kendal’s neighbors…or at least he was before he became a bug in her bathroom.

“I-I…Ok,” Kendal said, stunned a little as she dropped the tiny guy back onto the counter. Henry writhed on the hard surface as Bri and a few others ran to him, trying to figure out how the hell they were going to get out of this alive.

“Bri?! Bri, is that you?” Kendal asked, leaning in even closer. The tiny people froze as her massive green eyes now just inches from the small cluster. Bri froze on the spot her entire plan to escape revolved around Kendal not recognizing one of the people she hated most during high school; that option was out the window now as the terrified girl looked up and faked a smile. “You too, why are you guys so tiny?” the massive blonde asked, her eyes practically shimmering as she devoured the sight of the bug-sized individuals cowering in her sight. Before Bri could even think of how to begin her answer, Kendal remembered the ‘bugs’ she’d seen on the floor. She pushed away from the counter quickly and squatted down, giggled as she finally took a good look at the ones on the ground; they were all tiny people. It felt to Kendal like she was looking out over a crowd in a helicopter, some faces she recognized, most were too tiny to see any real detail…but the crowd was all staring up at her. Once again, the knot of excitement in her stomach just grew more intense. Hey eyes fell on one of the slower guys running away from her on the floor. He looked to be maybe a few years older than her, possibly out of grad school, but right now he was just a bug on her floor with the rest of them…she couldn’t let them get away this easily. Reaching up, Kendal grabbed a towel from the rack next to the shower and tossed it on the ground just in front of the fleeing pack. “Oh no…you guys can’t just go into my room without asking,” the giantess cooed, giggling as she collapsed on her butt and pulled her knees close to her chest. “Come closer,” she commanded, tapping the ground before her bare toes with an impatient finger. It was something Bri had feared from the start…the giantess’s playful side hadn’t changed since they were kids. Kendal smiled down at the crowd slowly approaching her feet as a thought crossed her mind…how bad could it be if she teased them just a little?

Bri ran to the edge of the counter and shouted off at the gigantic blonde, “Kendal! Please! We don’t even know what happened to us! I-It’s not like we were trying to break in on purpose!” The tiny girl could feel her heart hammering. Did Kendal even hear her?! To her surprise, Bri watched Kendal’s entire body shake a little before the giant heaved a sigh.

No one on the ground had heard much else over their own screams of protest and shock, but Kendal heard Bri’s message loud and clear. The playful fire that had lit inside the blonde was suddenly smothered with a wet blanket of guilt. Looking up slowly at her former classmate, Kendal watched Bri twitch and slowly head back away from the edge…apparently Kendal wasn’t very good at hiding her disappointment. Slowly, Kendall let go of her knees and crossed her legs as she examined the tiny bugs more objectively. Thankfully, the little things were still coming closer like she’d commanded; leaning in a little, Kendal wanted a better look at her home invaders. It wasn’t just Bri and her Henry she recognized. Every little bug on the ground was either someone she knew personally, or could at least recognize one way or another from around her town.

“Kendal!...Kendal!!” Bri screamed again, having found the courage to come back to the edge.

“What?” Kendal replied, annoyance creeping into her voice as she turned her head to look up at the screaming little bug-person.

    “P-Please! Can you help us?”

There was an uncomfortably long moment of silence. The very fact that Kendal seemed to have to consider this answer was more than enough to make several of the tiny refugees nervous. Bri and the others on the counter-top couldn’t see it…but down on the ground, Kendal was slowly flexing her toes as she turned the idea over in her head. A couple of the tiny ones on the floor felt sick as they watched the massive digits of the objectively short girl wiggle almost playfully.

Bri couldn’t help herself…it was taking way too long for an answer, “K-Kend-”

She was cut off as Kendal laid her right hand down on the ground, palm up before the tiny crowd of people that had gathered before her. “Come on guys, climb up,” she chirped, “I have a lot more questions I wanna ask.” Bri breathed a sigh of relief…it was a start if nothing else. It took a while for the ½ inch tall people to finally climb onto her fingers after struggling to pull themselves onto her super slick fingernails…they might as well have been trying to climb onto a slab of clean-cut marble. Honestly, it was 4am and Kendal was having trouble staying awake, but the very sight of what must have been 25-30 tiny people struggling to climb onto her fingers was more than enough incentive to fight off her exhaustion. Slowly, Kendal got back on her feet and began rising; the trip was still too much for many of her passengers though. To them, Kendal might as well have been a rocket blasting off into space; the G-force alone brought many down to their knees or knocked them flat on their ass or face. Of course, all of this was below Kendal’s notice as the giantess flipped the lid of the toilet down with her free hand and took a seat. Splaying her finger, she thought she was gently sprinkling her passengers onto the counter-top… there’d be a few bruises and concussions to deal with later on from some of the hard impacts.

Bri ran to help some of the little ones up as Kendal rested her chin on her crossed arms at her end of the counter. Operating under the gaze of the young woman’s green eyes was humiliating, but at least she wasn’t trying to kill them.

“Soooo…how’d you guys even get so tiny?” Kendal asked, her eyes sparkling as she watched the nearly 50 little people mill around and huddle up on her counter-top.

“W-We don’t know!” Bri shouted back as she tried to help Henry with his leg.

    “Awwww…that’s no fun,” Kendal huffed.

“Fun? You think this is fun?!” Tyler screamed from the back of one of the clusters. Bri’s neck nearly snapped from how quickly her head shot around to his direction. Internally, she was cursing him out; her asshole of a boyfriend was going to piss off the ONE person he shouldn’t if he kept talking! “We’re fucking hiding in your bathroom as you kill people! In what world is this fun?!” Bri looked up and felt her heart sink, Kendal’s eyes just twitched.

“H-He doesn’t mean it! Seriously, Kendal we’re all just scared. We don’t know what’s happening!” Bri said, trying to run damage control. Kendal wasn’t paying attention to her anymore; her eyes were locked on Tyler.

“Well…you should try not to look like bugs in my PRIVATE bathroom…then maybe I wouldn’t think you were one,” Kendal replied coolly, sending chills down the spine of every tiny person present. A small smirk crossed her lips as she reached forward and pinched Tyler between her right hand’s thumb and pointer-finger. “Actually, it’s hard to tell if you’re a bug or not even now…”

“Kendal! Stop it! Put him down!” Bri begged, clasping her hands together and falling to her knees. Kendal wasn’t listening…and Tyler was about to make things much worse.

“Let go of me, you fucking whore!” Tyler shouted. He was screaming a second later as Kendal pinched a little tighter, he nails now digging into his stomach and back. Bri felt sick as she looked at Kendal’s nail and started to see a small crimson line growing…with her boyfriend at the source. “F-Fuck!” Kendal’s small chuckle shook the air as Tyler began to writhe between her fingers.

The giantess didn’t break eye-contact with her captive as she spoke slowly, “Sorry guys…it looks like I let a real bug get mixed up with everyone. Don’t worry…I’ll take care of it right now.”

“Kendal! Kendal, stop it! Please! D-Don’t do this!” Bri screamed as she ran to the edge of the counter. Her heart was hammering as Kendal continued to slowly lower her boyfriend to the floor. Flopping down on her stomach, she watched in horror as Tyler screamed and writhed between the giantess’ massive fingers. The next few seconds moved in slow motion for Bri. Kendal only lowered Tyler to around halfway down her shin before she let go of him. There was a terrible scream of pain from the little guy as the giant blonde’s nail tore out from his back and left him literally clinging onto the edge that was slicing into his front. He looked down and saw the fall he still had to make till he reached the floor. Terrified, Tyler began grabbing for a hand-hold on Kendal’s thumbnail only to find he was already slipping. He screamed at the top of his lungs, a mix of pain as the massive wedge Kendal had been driving into his stomach was painfully pulled out and of terror at the 20-something feet he still had left to fall. He hit the ground hard, a small pray of blood coming out from the wounds on his back and front painted the clean tile.

“Yup…just another little bug I forgot to squish,” Kendal said, slowly lifting her foot. Her emerald nails sparkled in the atmospheric lighting as she playfully splayed and wiggled her toes over Tyler.

“F-Fuck…F-F-F…” Tyler mouthed, gasping for air and clutching his stomach. His entire body was already starting to go numb thanks to the persistent blood loss.

“Awwww…is the little bug trying to say something?” Kendal teased, scrunching her toes so they cracked a little bit. Leaning down, she giggled, “Come on bug…you can speak louder, can’t you?” Her smirk sent chills down Tyler’s spine, but he wasn’t going to let her get the last laugh.

Mustering what little strength he had left, he took a deep breath and choked up at Kendal, “F-Fuck you! S-Suck my dick, you stupid whore…”

He exploded as Kendal brought the ball of her foot down onto him…hard. The tile floor suddenly had long streaks of crimson running over it as Kendal began to slowly twit her tan foot back and forth. Bri could hear a series of crunches, pops, cracks, and squelches...Tyler. Tyler was dead. Kendal was currently grinding him underfoot like a little bug and there was nothing she could do to stop it. For the tiny woman, it felt like Kendal was grinding her foot back and forth for what seemed like an eternity. She only snapped out of it as the giantess giggled.

“Hehehe…ok, so which one of you want to clean this mess up?” she asked, turning back to the group. Bri felt her blood turn to ice. Kendal’s eyes were sparkling…help wasn’t going to be coming to them anymore….
