free turnout? what's that?

Free turnout is basically just letting the pony free and having her roam around the yard. Which is absolutely ridiculous and extremely dangerous. And she always goes in the feed room, and if she eats too much she'll get sick. Not to mention, if she wanders out into the road and gets hit by a car. Very bad idea. Whenever I see her free turned out, I bring her in.

I keep my feed in an old freezer, that keeps the horses and rodents out of it. The sire of my Arabian was turned out free and Harbit was hit by a car ending his life at 24 yrs old. Why anyone would turn a horse out free is beyond me.

I envy you. i take alot of pictures of horses, and ppl arent aware they were really just taking a crap, or whatnot LOL!, and you dont know how many .... coughthingcough i have edited out of pictures.... LOL!, and as always, awesome picture! you got a good clean background, and her colors are rich, along with a deffinantly mustang look

Free turnout? Like free to wander? Sometimes we let a lesson horse do that. They're so awesome.
