It's me again~

School is back in full throttle! I will be closing the commissions by Sunday, and it's most likely that they won't be open for at least a year!

Other than that: I wanted to take this opportunity to bring up all the bull$hit that dev1antart has been pulling on us! -- How nowadays everyone needs to have core membership to do anything on this webs1te... Yeah, it kinda sucks 🙃

I didn't rant about Eclipse yet, mostly because i had hoped it would get better with time.

I hoped that one day, i can get back all my stamps and icons and fun profile customizations.
But nah. It just kept getting worse!

Recent updates about the customization policy, on top of the core stuff, on top of the sheer % of money dev1antart takes off our commission earnings have tipped the scales tonight.
I'm fucking. done. with that crap.

They took away our green site, making the UI hard to navigate. It got so bad, i cannot go a day without a message "GREET OUR NEW DEVIANTS" - Why? BECAUSE THEY'RE FUCKING LOST IN YOUR STUPID USER INTERFACE AND WEB DESIGN. Why should i do your work for you? Why should i do your work of introducing the users to the website? Because you made it too confusing.

Wow... taking away our ability to use community emoticons in the deviation descriptions? Messing up with the system, trying so hard, to prevent me from using a community-made emoticon? Which the community made for the community? Here's my opinion on that topic: 🖕

Taking away our ability to put links to our sta.sh files in the deviation descriptions? Well, the scripting for that 'denied access' is broken, so i won't complain much, but still, why make it core exclusive? I don't get it???

Why would i need fragments? What the fuck do they do??? Why the hell should i care???

The notification stack is a nightmare to navigate & deal with. It disappears on PC, i can't check all as read unless i go far and beyond. I didn't ask for that at all (:

The Chat function is still in beta. I had it crash, not work for days, not send messages for days - that's not "trying to be professional about your website" It's lazy. The chat is still broken, and still unreliable.

The custom boxes... The thing that you implemented instead of our old stamps and files and icons, nicely decorating our profiles... Is trash. I tested it thoroughly. You cannot input gifs unless you make them a background, it lowers quality, it broke the first day of usage because the font color crashed the website. Now you need a god-damn core to show your personality? Great website guys! How much more greedy can you get? Children use this website, you know?

Heck, i myself was a kid when i got on this website. And i did that, because the community of artists was welcoming and helpful, and because it was nice to be myself. Show what i liked, and what i was, and what art i was creating.

This website feels like nothing but a portfolio, now, and it's not even accepted as a portfolio by most schools and businesses.

You have pulled, and tugged, in both directions - getting nothing out of it but an annoying tool
