History: She was born after Asriel was killed and she grew up surrounded by the depression of monsters that came with his death. This made her fear humans and the power they had to destroy the hopes of monsters. She grew up with this crippling fear that got so bad she had to have nightlights in her room. (She kept a potted glowing mushroom in her room for a nightlight.) On top of this, Ophie grew up sheltered from the world, as she was too timid and SHEEP-ish to socialize. One day, while exploring Waterfall, she ran into the Garbage Dump and saw all the cool stuff there. She looked through it and eventually realized that it’s all human junk. She got curious about human culture this way and began to study it through things that floated into the Dump. She gained an appreciation for art as she grew up, learning how to draw and knit and eventually opened up a shop that sells cool human artifacts she cleans up and fixes. In that same Garbage Dump, she met Alphys and Alphys became her first friend. Ophelia was always too shy to speak up, so meeting someone like her was monumental for her. Now she just follows Alphys around like a lost puppy and I don’t think either of them mind. So far, she’s befriended Alphys, Napsta, Papyrus and The River Person, but she wants to be friends with everyone because she thinks everyone is wonderful in their own way.
