It's beautiful and insanely sad. The old building is still remembered and reflected in the new, but the reflection is just the prophecy that soon it shall be just an illusion of yesterday's magnificense.

thanks for your reply crustymuffin, it was intended as a reflection of an old cathedral against a modern glassy building in Boston. The thing is that the cathedral in that exact place where I took the picture seemed a little overshadowed by the new building.

Well, if what crustymuffin said is what the photographer intended, then bravo. But judging by the description, it wasnt. So, in this case, good job crustymuffin for having such a vivid imagination and seeing something that wasnt there.

i think this challenges the concept of time. i like it, old and new like the previous commenter noticed. i like the reflection in the shot. beautiful.
