I found it a bit pointless that Kagari sacrifices herself too. I mean, Shinra's sacrifice was enough to get the job done.

Ikaruga's ending makes me want to cry every single time, added in with that song. It's such a beautiful game and I love watching how the polarity of the colors make brilliant eye candy. BTW, this screenshot is so vivid and beautiful. Just look at the missiles fly - elegant arcs of color.

I took this screen capture with an emulator ages ago, but if by chance you have an X-Box 360, you can buy it on Live Arcade for rather cheap and its graphical quality is probably even higher on 1080p.

Ah, so you played it on Chankast? I couldn't get it to run. I also don't have an X-Box 360 unfortunately, but yeah, I can imagine it on HD TV in tate mode. The entire game would look gorgeous.

A coupla Reasons why I couldn't play these cool games:
*Didn't buy a Sega Saturn
*The trade business doesn't seam to like promoting obscure titles & prefer big mainstream titles

It was such a shame that he died at the end. But I only found the game about a month ago and can't stop playing it @_@

The description is a quote from the ship's voice right before it destructs, no? I could never understand it except for 'result in destruction of the ship'. I feel enlightened.
