Been months since I posted somethin' Ashworth related on deviantART.

But yeah Gabriel and I are currently revising a new script to the first book after getting great advice from David (creator of ). This new script involved us to restructure the entirety of the first three chapters and so far it's been quite an exercise!

We gathered our brains to come up with something much more interesting than the previous script and with it comes this character, Lambert. Gabriel asked me to design a stag, who will be featured on Page 10, as Ashworth's fencing partner and trainer at the academy of swordsmanship. The academy's job is to prepare Elites to join the Geisseht who are tasked to seek and take down political and malevolent forces seeking power from the Edenspell.

You'll also notice that the title has changed again from Ashworth back to Edenspell. That's because I realised that as we continue to write more about the story, questioning it's lore and world-building the Edenspell became a prominent occurrence in the story rather than the titular character himself - ie Ashworth. I had to let go of my ego to better serve the story. We the creators have an obligation to tell a story that has a point, and ultimately we need to be slaves to the story in order to get that point across. It is also our job to make it interesting and one that resonates with readers, as Brian McDonald (author of Invisible Ink) would put it.

Hope to bring you more updates in the future! Till then it's back to the drawing board to fix that new script!
