Alrighty! This is getting most interesting for me and for those who are reading Picnic Heaven series! ^___^I've recieved a lot of feedback on the series for this I thank you all once more.
Many of you had questions that need answers - I'll do my best to get back to you when I get the opportunity. 
Oh and I've got something for you all fans and friends out there who are keeping up with this series. YOU ARE GOING BE INVOLVED... Yes! ^^
How...? Well I'll let Blaze fill in the details for you.
I'm going to let her use my journal to communicate with you on the upcoming tournament and explain details on how you can get involved literally! X3 I'll catch you all soon! = ) ^__~ Oh and keep up the amazing work too Sonic/Klonoa/DA community! ^_____^
- Espio's sensei idea originated and inspired from Magnus Andersson's Chaotix of Tomorrow game/story concept. I hope you don't mind Magnus... = ) I need to practice drawing him before drawing the final piece for you! ^^
- Most of the ninjitsu moves used/referenced in the series thus far have been from Naruto! *chuckle* ^^ Please give credit to the Naruto team, and the artist/author for their ingenius and incredible ninja ideas.

I've actually already read through the entire series you have so far, and I have to say, these really make my day no matter how shitty I might have felt at the time. Seriously, they gave me a REALLY good laugh. :3

(If you don't get it, read these lyrics: [link] It says 'shell of a town' in the lyrics, but they do say stuff like what I said in the show, and thus, it's a very bad joke.)
Anyhow, this is looking cool! It's interesting you're getting some inspiration from Naruto and stuff. It looks like Espio's sensei can be tough if he wants to, and he's dead serious about his bonsai plants. *envisions Ninja Turtles running laps with Espio*

I love how you're doing the scenery and everything. It really gives you a feel of the area they're in, and of the setting/time, etc. Awesome use of characters still!

i wanna give you somethin that'll hopefully make your works even better than they are now or even give you new ideas. instead i can't stop talkin about how cool it is lol (btw did i mention this is awesome?
honestly, i don't know wether i'm not a big eye for details or not. but i can't see any ovious flaws at all. i say this is relaly perfect as it is. there's the whole typical anime style special powers things in our ninjutsu reps (they're pretty cool btw) and the cool thing is they're generally original, other people ussually got for shiny blasts of energy shooting from the guys hands XP yours look more like actual attacks performed at incredible velocities (which is how ninjutsu works in esence). that's pretty awesome that's how Twilight (my character) works. so you pretty much got somethin good there

I just read them all, Lol great. My personal favorites was the first one I just loved the consept, but the others was good to and it was nice to see some good art after being whitout the internnet for 3 weeks. Can't wait for more

Seems to be some kind of a fresh new rivarly going on between Shadow and Espio, eh? =O This should make things interesting further on! Man, this tournament idea is so awesome. X33 *hops up and down anxiously*

Nya haha, that's another fave from me! xB Aw I'm just having too much fun with this series, a Sonic-related storyline that doesn't seem to involve the world smothered in chaos for once. X33 This thing about the fans being able to join in? Also quite interesting, that'll be something to expand on wonderfully. ;3

You wouldn't believe how fan-girly-ish I have become over Picnic Heaven. OMFG! I rush to the comp, jump in my swivel chair, and check for new deviations. If there isn't one from you--I sulk!
I love the poses and emotions in this one! Espio's master seems to be a great character. He's funy, serious, deadly, and mind reading! 
Great work! I will definately HAVE to see what Blaze is up to on this one!

I dunno... I guess it's a the efficiency rate of drawing them digitally (the traditional methods required more time and patience - draw, scan and edit), wheras this all you have to do is draw and submit! LOL! XXD Oh I can't just forget that one important ingredient - a pinch of determination.

Anyway inspiration comes from I guess experience and knowledge. I read a lot of manga, play a lot of games, have the passion to come up with some interesting for the concepts I admire very much and finally I get feedback from my friends and fans.

Man, I really need to see Naruto after hearing so much about the good reviews of it and the hype... but yes, this is definitely interesting so far and I love the Amy parts, and the bonsai is a brilliant joke aspect which I particularly loved. :3 Great drawings as well, and I have to ask where the tornament itself is set. If it's on those grounds it'd be a brilliant laugh to try and see the fighters avoid breaking the bonsai plants. XD A misplaced bomb, chaos enegry attack... it'd be hilarious.
Great work as always Darkspeeds and I look forward to seeing what this 'participation' will be.
