She's one of my youngest subjects (13!), but she's very talented at what she does and she's a personal favourite of mine to work with.

Lovely photo. Nicely posed, framed, and the mono does it well, too.

Wonderful photo, as well as a beautiful model!

This photo makes me feel happy and peaceful when I look at it, more than likely because the model looks so happy - you can just see it in her eyes and it gives you hope that there's no worries as well. The atmosphere is just one of the many great things about this photo!

I do approve of your choice of B&W for this photo, it's less distracting than with the colors and I feel like it really brings out the little details, the little emotions that we would've have seen otherwise. Nice work!

Technically, the photo is alright, but it could use a bit more work. The focus overall could be a little sharper, and I think you could've benefited from shifting your camera up a little more. The shallow focus is important, though, to keep the background blurred and to bring more attention on the main subject.

What I like about this photo is the realism of it - it's not fantasy, or unrealistic. It's something we see every day, we just don't take the time to admire when someone smiles at us like this photo makes us do.. if that makes any sense? I think you did a wonderful job.

So, overall, if I improved anything I would sharpen the focus a bit, perhaps add a small vignette, and work on the composition a bit. But you've got a beautiful concept here!

Nice work

Wow, thank you so much for the constructive criticism. Admittedly, the composition of this picture is something I would have liked to improve, but live and learn, eh?

Your feedback is very much appreciated!

Definitely! Sometimes photos turn out the way you want them to, sometimes they don't. It's all part of the experience.

Yup! She looks a lot older than she is which makes photographing her tricky sometimes, but she's a little trouper!
