I'll be banal, again, this is for Trinquette Publishing's contest.Done in Photoshop. 2-3 days of work!

yeah, and i like the way he explains that the contest is between you versus yourself the previous time.
I think that i took it only for fun and did not my best, so being not selected is challenging.
As you said it permits to been seen by many fellow artists, so it's better to the best job as we can at the moment.
It's the same thing than making a portfolio, as famous illustrator Stephanie Hans said : if you think you could do better do it !
I hesitate posting my try on the Emma Peel thing because it was made to be compared to others work, but i think i'll do it.
If you have time telling me your opinion about it, i will be very glad !Β

while I do really like this, my one slight criticism is that the text is a little difficult to read.

AhhahahaΒ Yep, I got the font from a series of old posters of 60-70 years. It was even worse, but yes, you're right, I didn't give much importance to legibility, I just wanted that it would make the picture more vintage.
