They both also have some overprotective or overbearing parents that care too much and just wanna show their support for them, and their career choices (Video’s is her father, Mr. Hercule Satan; while Rainbow Dash’s are her parents, Bow Hothoof and Windy Whistles). They are also in a relationship with their respective franchises’ powerhouse superhero fighters (Gohan for Videl, and Applejack for Rainbow Dash) and both have superhero identities for a temporary period (Videl’s was the Great Saiyawoman, whole Rainbow Dash’s was the Power Pony, Zapp).
