Description When the movie, "Shark Tales" came out, I was given the assignment to sculpt all but three of the characters, plus the shark case and the environment that was inside the case that held the characters. The most challenging task had to be the Jellyfish. Not only were the sculpts done 1 to 1, but I, but the bodies had to be thin strands that make up the character. This was the last project I worked on at my previous job before I was let go, but I still had fun doing it

I've bought most of them...do you know where I can find the case, Oscar, Lino, and Sykes? I collect Shark Tale merchandise.

not to worry, but this was an undertaking I'll tell you. They had to be proportional and I had to capture their personalities

How cool. Great Job. I wish I could sculpt like that. Nothing would please me more than to be able to create the things I love to collect.

All it takes is practice, just try on a small scale, something easy and go from there

Thanks for the encouragement.
I do modeling, It's just that most of it's done in Cinema 4D and Second Life.
Although I don't have a physical object to show for my work when finished, Digital sculpture = no mess or money required. (I'm so cheap)

Wow, that's so cool. I wish i could learn Z-Brush, Maya and Rhino. I never heard of 4D and Second life. It 's so annoying that I can't seem to get started on even learning this stuff. In that way, I envy you

Cinema 4D is a very user friendly professional CGI interface. They used it to create characters and FX for films like "The Incredible Hulk" and "The Golden Compass".

Second Life is a fun addicting and FREE multiplayer 3D world... Imagine websites and chatrooms being 3D videogame environments where you design or buy anything you can imagine with no limits, that's Second Life. It's a great way to get started with CG interfaces for free and when you get good at it, you can make real money selling CG models (I'm starting to do it now). [link] Give it a shot. My screen Name is "Gki Wulluf", so If you need any noob tips, let me know.

Whoa, now those are highly impressive. I can imagine the jelly fish being tough. The jellyfish and octopus are definitely my favorites. Beautiful composition and poses. You're so talented!
