Funny thing I noticed as a kid: In the Donald Duck comics, it was nothing weird with couples of different species... Daisy once accused Donald to be unfaithful with a dog face women IIRC, but she didn't make a point about bestiality!
But in the Swedish Bamse comic book (read more about it here: [link] ), two kids, a badger boy and a fox girl, became close friends while working at the same toy workshop/small factory. They decided they would stay as friends because they were of different species - and this was NOT treated as "fantastic racism".
I guess anthro comics can get random when realism/science is applied and when not.

Thank you dear. I won't lie, I had so much fun on this piece. One, because I got to draw beautiful women, two, because I got to try and covey some personalities with the request, and three...I got to experiment with it. Especially with the slime.
You know, I've come to the conclusion that only DWD mammals have pubic hair. Otherwise the birds get feathery downstairs area. i think I like this conclusion.
