Phineas and Ferb - Doofenshmirtz and Phineas FlynnHuh....HUH. This turned out cuter than I expected it to.
Okaaaay, a post on tumblr was requesting people to draw some gay Phineas...And I literally stared at my screen for 30 minutes trying to think of SOMETHING. I mean, I don't ship Phineas/Ferb (not going to stop anyone who does though, their choice), so that left me wondering...What the heck could I DO?
Then it hit me out of nowhere- Phineas having a one sided crush on Doof, while the evil scientist was completely oblivious to it. And then I was giggling to myself as I imagined Phineas just walking into the lab, coming for a visit, and going:
"Hey Doctor D, whatcha doooooin?"
"Huh? Oooh! Red head child! Helloooo there! Nothing much, reeeeally, just building a new inatoooor."
"Sounds like fun! Can I help?"
"I suppose so...Grab me the monkey wrench, will ya?"
"Will do! Here ya go~
""You know, i REALLY do think you should go see the doctor for your eye problem you got going on. They always look so weeeeird and glazed over. Might need glasses- Juuuust sayin'"

You're looking at this the wrong way. Fr one, as I said, it as a throw away joke. It wasn't meant to be though about how they would have met. And if we had to, we could easily come up wit a million ways for them to. Heck, they HAVE run into each other a few times randomly in he show. Didn't talk, yes...but they easily could if stuck in a place.
Let's move on from that and over to the part of what you aid that really bothers me. You know, besides the fact you won't take the time to read the artist comment. it is ONESIDED. Phineas is having an INNOCENT crush. NOTHING will come from this. what....Are you telling me you never had a crush on somebody you know you couldn't have, but you admired them anyway? Never on a teacher? And older student? A celebrity? Did YOU end up with them?
Most likely not.
Love is more complicated than black and white. I ship more complexed pairings. Dooenshmirtz is not a pedophile. And if he ever did find out how Phineas felt for him- he'd probably ditched the kid. Doof HATES and does his best to avoid awkwardness, after all.
No...all Doof sees is a kid that sees good in him. Someone who admires him. A friend, an assistant, a son-like figure even. Phineas is just a little friend to him. And someone who lifts is self esteem. makes him feel at least ONE person sees the genius in him.
Is that really wrong? I'm an adult, and I have child friends. Heck, I'm pretty sure one or two had a little crush on me at some point. Does that make me a pedo who wants to rape them? No...No it does not. As much as th media and news might lead you to believe, not EVERYBODY is out to cause harm. Even adults can have the most innocent of intentions.
Look..sorry for coming off as snipey. It just gets to me after awhile that nobody seems to get it. There are different kinds of love. And it sucks when people take something so innocent that you came up with, and taint it. Especially when you get asked the same thing over and over.

If this frightens you, then you must have had a screwed up childhood. You've never had a crush on an adult while you were a kid, before? Nothing ever coming from it, but you can't help but feel and admire them? Love is a lot more complicated. Relationships are a lot more complicated. They aren't always so black and white.
