I just watched the video and I'm quite curious as to why you changed Shard's pose from upright to running in. I just thought, "Woah!" when you deleted him. But then again the new pose does show that even though Shard is the more serious of the two, he's not afraid to meet new friends and join in.
Rob flying away from Anaiii is definitely something that he would do, especially, if it's a wolf, as he either thinks that she would eat him or drool over his feathers, which he hates.
I like the mixture of shading techniques shown in the video - blue shading and lighting. It gives the picture more depth.
