My Angel

"Please don't leave me Sakura-Chan!" Naruto yelled as he held Sakura close to him.
"I-I'm sorry N-Naruto." Sakura coughed. Spitting out blood.
It wasn't meant to be like this. It should have never happened. It was killing him. He could no longer protect the cherry blossom he adored the most.
He couldn't do anything besides watch.
What happened?
Well it started like this…
"It's a simple mission really. You two should have no trouble at all." Tsunade said.
Naruto and Sakura were being sent out on a simple mission.
Get the scroll of serenity from the land of water then return home.
Sakura just smiled and thanked,
"Thank you Tsunade-Sama."
Naruto nodded.
"I guess we'll head out tomorrow." Naruto said with a shrug.
"Agreed, now leave!" Tsunade growled.
Naruto and Sakura rolled their eyes and left.

Then the next day Naruto and Sakura met up at the gate.
"Ready?" Sakura asked.
"You bet Sakura-Chan!"
Sakura walked while Naruto, being Naruto, ran.
"Come on Sakura-Chan!!" Naruto yelled stopping a few feet ahead of her.
"Naruto walk! Come on we have a couple of days!" Sakura yelled back.
Naruto waited for Sakura to catch up. Then walked along next to Sakura.
"I can't wait to see Tazuna again!" Naruto said excitedly.
Sakura rolled her eyes with a smile.
"Can we run now Sakura-Chan?!" Naruto asked a few minutes later.
"Fine."
Naruto and Sakura took off.

A couple days later…
Naruto and Sakura just retrieved that scroll of Serenity and were just leaving.
"Bye kids! Have a safe journey back!" Tazuna yelled as the fiery medic-ninja and Kyuubi container walked away.
"We will!" Sakura yelled waving back.
"Bye Naruto! Bye Sakura!"  Now grown up Inari yelled.
"Bye!" They both yelled back before taking off.
"Man, they were shocked to see us." Naruto said.
Sakura smiled.
"Yea and they didn't know who you were so Tazuna hit you with a broom."
Naruto blushed.
"I didn't change that much Sakura-Chan!" Naruto declared.
"They thought you did!" Sakura taunted.
"Sakura-Chan!" Naruto moaned not wishing to recall Tazuna making fun of Naruto for not being a shrimp anymore.
"It true!!" Sakura teased stretching out 'true.'
"You're meeeeaaaann Sakura-Chaaaan!!!"
Sakura stuck her tongue out at the Kyuubi container and ran ahead.
Because of the trees Sakura disappeared from Naruto's sight.
"Hey Sakura-Chan where are you!" Naruto yelled trying to see Sakura.
No answer.
Naruto pushed ahead but Sakura was gone.
"Sakura-Chan!" Naruto yelled.
Silence…
Naruto stopped and looked around.
That's when he heard her.
"Naruto!!!" Sakura screamed sounding like she was in pain.
Naruto turned towards Sakura's voice. It sounded like it was coming from below. So Naruto jumped down.
The sun was setting so it was hard to see through the obscurity of the trees.
Finally a faint whisper,
"Naruto…"
Naruto turned to see a horrific sight.
"Itachi." Naruto hissed.
Itachi was holding Sakura against him. A kunai pressed against her neck.
Her emerald orbs begged him to run.
But Naruto didn't see that.
"Let her go Itachi." Naruto snarled his eye color turning scarlet.
Itachi smirked and retorted,
"Why should I?"
Naruto's claws grew and his whiskers darkened.
Sakura's eyes moistened and she shook her head. Begging him with her eyes not to change.
Itachi noticed Naruto's anger with ease. So he took his kunai and pressed it against her arm.
Itachi pressed harder and moved down.
Sakura whimpered in pain as a long gash was created on her arm.
Naruto growled and took a step towards her.
Itachi shook his head and kept going.
Naruto stopped and took one step back.
"What the hell are you doing!?!?! Fight!!!!!" the Kyuubi roared.
Naruto shook his head. Then growled,
"Stop hurting her! Just tell me what the hell you want!!" Naruto growled.
Itachi stopped and returned the kunai to Sakura's neck.
Itachi released a dark chuckle and said,
"Do you want to save her?"
Naruto nodded furiously.
"Well." Itachi said. "I'll give you couple of choices."
"What are they!!!" Naruto bellowed.
"One, You can walk away and let me have Sakura. Or two, surrender."
Naruto growled,
"Two."
Itachi smiled evilly.
"Alright you surrender but there's something I must do."
Naruto growled,
"What?"
"This."
Sakura screamed in pain as the kunai entered her body.
"SAKURA-CHAN!!" Naruto screamed as he ran towards Sakura.
Itachi released Sakura.
And the cherry blossom fell.
Naruto ran up to Sakura. He fell on his knees and cradled the bloody Sakura.
Itachi smiled.
Naruto looked up at Itachi. Pure hatred in his crimson orbs.
Scarlet chakra surrounded Naruto. Nine tails formed.
He placed the barley breathing Sakura gently on the ruff terrain.
"I'll be right back. Ok Sakura-Chan?" Naruto whispered.
Sakura nodded numbly. Blood pouring out of her wound.
Naruto touched the wound before standing.
Naruto's gaze was locked on the withering cherry blossom. Her eyes were shut from the pain.
Itachi spoke in a cool voice,
"What are you going to do?"
Naruto roared and ran full force towards Itachi.
Naruto's full grown claws entered Itachi's chest. Ripping apart his heart.
Itachi only smiled at him.
"Fool." He whispered.
Poof!
Itachi suddenly disappeared into a puff of smoke.
Itachi was a shadow clone…
Naruto roared at the top of his lungs.
He stopped when he heard a faint plea,
"Naruto. Stop."
He turned to see Sakura struggling to sit up.
Naruto ran towards her yelling,
"No Sakura-Chan lay down!"
He fell on his knees cradling the bloody blossom.
"Please don't leave me Sakura-Chan!" Naruto yelled as he held Sakura close to him.
"I-I'm sorry N-Naruto." Sakura coughed. Spitting out blood.

Sakura looked up at him. She smiled weakly and reached up to Naruto cheek.
She caressed it gently and whispered,
"Naruto. There's something you need to know."
Sakura started coughing. Choking on her blood.
"Don't speak  Sakura-Chan! Just don't sleep!"
"Naruto, I l-love y-you." Sakura confessed. Slowly dying
Naruto's eyes widened and he smiled and said,
"I love you too Sakura-Chan. But don't leave me now."
"It's my time Naruto…Kun."
"No! It's not your time! You need to stay with me. Please Sakura-Chan I love you!"
Sakura smiled again.
"Naruto, there's so many things I wanted to do with you. And I-I'm sorry we couldn't be together."
Naruto shook his head in denial.
"Don't say things like that! You're going to be fine!"
"Naruto, the kunai had poison on it. It's killing me. I'm going to die. But remember, I love you.."
Sakura's eyes were drooping shut.
"NO! Don't sleep Sakura-Chan!!!!" Naruto yelled shaking her.
"I'm so tired Naruto. Let me sleep."
Sakura's eyes shut. Her breathing slowly stopped.
But Sakura whispered one last thing,
"I will…always…love…you."
Sakura's breathing stopped.
Naruto froze.
"SAKURA-CHAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Naruto howled returning to his Kyuubi form.
He stood destroying everything in his path.
Trees were given no mercy as Naruto took them down with each fatal hit.
The more trees he destroyed the more the pain grew.
Soon Naruto turned back to Sakura.
He stared at her lifeless body.
Naruto walked up to her.
When he was by her side he fell on to his knees.
Naruto lent his head down on Sakura's chest.
"Please Sakura-Chan. Come back. Come back to me."
But he knew it was too late.
He was always too late.
Too late to save Sasuke.
Too late to save Sakura.
He was too late for Gaara causing lady Chiyo to give her life for him.
He was always too late…

2 months later…
It's been two months since Sakura died. But her presence still ligers.
Ino swears she hears Sakura call,
"Ino-pig!"
Rock Lee says he hears Sakura saying she loves him. (Heh, Sorry had too.)
Kakashi hears Sakura yell at him for being late.
And Naruto…
Just isn't Naruto anymore.
When Sakura died Naruto was pulled into the depths of depression. He doesn't speak barley. You're lucky if you even get a, "Hi." out of him.
Kakashi tried to talk to Naruto but he would only get a nod of Naruto's head.
Ino tried to make Naruto think that Sakura was a flower. That she just wilted and died early even though she's young. She said some baby flowers or almost grown up flowers just die.
Naruto just nodded and left the flower shop.
Shikamaru explained that Sakura wasn't no longer in pain. That up there she's happy and watching over him.
Naruto just nodded his head and left.
That's how it worked.
The only one that could heal him was the one that caused it.
Sakura…
Now Naruto was laying on his bed in the darkness. The moon was high in the sky and it's light hit Naruto. Making him stand out.
Naruto's arms were bloody and still bleeding. In Naruto's hand was a piece of glass.
The glass held bloodstains proving what happened.
Naruto was cutting himself…
"Naruto move on. You're killing us. Plus you're not letting me heal you." The Kyuubi spoke.
'Only Sakura-Chan can heal me.' Naruto spoke mentally.
"SHE'S GONE!" the Kyuubi bellowed.
'I want to die. I want to be with Sakura-Chan.'
"No! If you die, I die! Do you want that?"
'Yes.'
Before the Kyuubi could go on Naruto heard something.
A laugh.
A girl laugh.
Naruto stood and ran out of his bedroom.
That laugh was no ordinary one.
It was Sakura's.
Naruto ran into his living room to find…
Nothing.
Except a hot bowl of beef ramen sitting on a TV stand.
Well, Naruto has not been eating.
Plus his house was spotless.
Naruto never cleaned his house since Sakura died.
It was always just clean.
Naruto shook his head at that.
No, he probably made the ramen and forgot it.
Naruto turned and walked into the bathroom.
He walked into the bathroom and turned on the sink.
Naruto washed is face trying to erase those memories.
Naruto lifted his head up to look in the mirror. And saw it.
Sakura…
She was wearing a white dress that stopped at her knees and her shoulder long her flowed out around her like a halo. Plus a pair of small white wings were opened up behind her.
Sakura didn't know Naruto was staring at her from the mirror. She was looking the other way shamefully.
"Sakura-Chan." Naruto whispered.
Sakura threw her gaze back to Naruto.
He turned towards her.
Sakura looked at him sadly.
"Is it really you?" Naruto asked.
Sakura nodded and reached up to caress his cheek.
Naruto lent into the warmth.
Sakura brought her gaze down to Naruto's arms.
She grabbed the right one with her left hand and stared at the cuts.
Sakura shook her head and placed one hand over the markings.
White energy spilled out of her hand and on to the cuts.
Naruto felt relief from it and whispered,
"My cherry blossom."
Sakura blushed from that.
"Why aren't you speaking?"
Sakura looked up at him with a smile and whispered,
"I don't want too."
Naruto smirked gave Sakura his other arm.
As Sakura healed it she smiled.
"No more cutting." Sakura demanded.
"Deal." Naruto said happy that Sakura came back.
Sakura finished Naruto's arm. She let it go and looked up at him.
"Bye Naruto." Sakura whispered turning away and walking towards the door.
"No! Sakura-Chan don't leave me!!" Naruto yelled.
Naruto snaked his arms around Sakura's waist and turned her towards him. Naruto pulled her against him.
Sakura looked up at him sadly.
Naruto lent his head on her chest and cried hard.
"P-Please S-Sakura-Chan. I-I need you. Don't leave me again."
Sakura played with Naruto's sunshine hair.
"I need to leave Naruto."
Naruto shook his head in denial.
"No. I don't want to lose you."
"I don't want to lose you again either Naruto."
Naruto looked into her eyes.
"Then stay here."
"I can't Naruto."
Sakura reached out and wiped Naruto's tears.
"I cause you so much pain. You shouldn't have even seen me tonight. I have to go. You must understand that I can't be with you. If I stay. It will only give you pain for when I leave." Sakura explained.
"Then stay here with me."
Sakura smiled sadly and gently took Naruto's arms.
She peeled him off of her.
She looked him in the eyes and gave him something Naruto always wanted from Sakura.
A kiss.
Naruto Backed Sakura into a wall. Pinning her hands successfully.
Naruto's passion-hot tongue came out and roamed over Sakura's lips. Asking for and entry.
Sakura let him pass and immediately felt passion burn her.
Their tongues fought, seeking dominance.
Soon they sadly separated.
Naruto and Sakura's foreheads pressed against each other.
Since Naruto still held Sakura she couldn't leave.
Naruto pulled back to look at his cherry blossom.
She looked up at him with a smile.
Naruto looked down at her with one as well.
He lent down at rested his lips on her neck.
Sakura tilted her head to the other side. Enjoying it.
Naruto smirked against Sakura's pale skin.
He moved up to Sakura's ear and whispered into it,
"Can you stay Sakura-Chan?"
Sakura froze.
She sighed and whispered,
"I don't want to hurt you."
Naruto's hold on her loosened.
Feeling more room Sakura escaped Naruto's warmth.
She looked at him sadly as he turned and stared into her eyes.
"I love you Naruto, Don't forget that." Sakura reminded him.
"NO!" Naruto yelled reaching out to grab her.
Sakura turned and ran to the shower.
She jumped.
Suddenly Sakura was gone.
She was no longer there.
Naruto's eyes widened.
"N-No. I-I lost you again Sakura-Chan."
Naruto laid down on the cold bathroom floor and went into fetal position.
Tears fell like rain down Naruto's face.
"Why! Please come back Sakura-Chan! I need you!"
Naruto cried himself to sleep and his last thought was,
'I just want to die.'

Naruto woke up that morning with something warm wrapped around his body. And something soft under his head.
He pushed himself up to find a pillow under him and a warm blanket wrapped around him.
Naruto's eyes widened.
Sakura had come back.
She did this for him.
Naruto stood and ran into the living room. Hoping to see if the little angel stayed.
She wasn't there.
Naruto walked into the kitchen to find some eggs and bacon on a china plate with a glass of milk beside it.
Naruto looked around the kitchen when something caught his eye.
On the fridge was a note written on a piece on notebook paper. The words neat and clean.
It was Sakura's handwriting.
It hung from a magnet.
He ripped it away from it and read the note.
Dear Naruto,
Sorry that I won't say this to you're face. So here it goes, I'll always be near you. But you probably won't see me again. I can be invisible so you're not going to see me until you move on.
I just want to let you know that I love you so much. I wanted to tell you that. But, I was afraid. I didn't want my heart to be broken again. Forgive me for causing you pain. This is the only way.

Naruto stared at the note acting like he was deciphering some code. But as soon as it hit Naruto he fell on his knees.
"No Sakura-Chan! I want to see you again!!"
Suddenly an idea came to mind.
He got up and grabbed the plate of food.
He was going to eat it but.
Sakura always came first.
He threw it on the ground.
The glass shattered and food covered the floor.
Naruto dropped down on his knees and picked up a shard.
He made a promise.
But he needed to break it.
Naruto pulled up his jacket sleeve and pressed the shard against his arm.
Suddenly the glass piece flew out of his hand and went to the other side of the room.
Naruto grabbed another one and yelled into the emptiness of the room,
"If you don't want me to cut myself then show yourself to me Sakura-Chan!!"
Naruto heard a light sigh but he didn't see Sakura. So he pressed it against his arm.
"You idiot!" He heard Sakura yell.
"I…want to see you Sakura-Chan."
Suddenly Naruto felt someone stroking his cheek.
"That's not want I want Sakura-Chan. I want to see you."
"Alright. Release!" Sakura said.
Suddenly Sakura started to appear.
Her body lucent then became solid.
Soon you could see Sakura fully.
Naruto smiled and whispered,
"There's my cherry blossom."
Sakura smiled back.
Her hand kept stroking him.
Naruto closed his eyes to the warmth.
"Don't cut Naruto. It scares me."
"I'm sorry Sakura-Chan." Naruto apologized.
Sakura stopped petting him and stood up along with Naruto.
"I can't stay Naruto. You must move on."
Naruto shook his head.
"No. I won't move on. You're my heaven Sakura." Naruto said
She smiled.
"And you're my earth." Sakura pointed out.
Naruto smiled and whispered,
"Are you going to stay?"
Sakura shook her head and made a symbol.
"I can't."
Sakura started to disappear again.
"NO!" Naruto bellowed reaching out to her again.
But Sakura was gone.
Again…

Naruto wasn't going to give up.
He'll chase her down.
Over and over.
Naruto looked at Sakura's note again.
You're not going to see me until you move on.
Naruto got an idea.
He's knew what to do to be with Sakura.
Even though it will cost him his life…

It was midnight and Naruto was dressed. Wearing a black t-shirt with his orange pants. Naruto made sure he had his weapons before walking out of his bedroom.
As Naruto passed through the living room and sweet scent hit his nose.
Ramen.
Naruto turned and walked into the kitchen.
There on the table was another steaming bowl of ramen.
"You want me to eat before I go?"
He felt Sakura give him a small push towards it.
"Sakura-Chan I can't." Naruto spoke with a laugh.
This time he felt Sakura grab his hand and pull him over to the table.
Naruto resisted.
"Damn." Sakura spoke. "You're heavy."
Naruto smiled.
Sakura pulled him over to the table and made him sit down in front of the ramen. Then took Naruto's hand and made him grab the chopsticks.
"I'm not hungry Sakura-Chan." Naruto whined.
He heard Sakura let out a huff in disappointment.
"Talk to me Sakura-Chan." Naruto demanded.
"If I talk then you won't heal." Sakura explained.
Naruto sighed and played with his chopsticks.
He heard Sakura groan.
Suddenly his nose pinched together. Causing Naruto not to breathe.
Sakura was holding his nose.
Naruto kept his mouth shut up finally Naruto needed air.
He let out a big breath.
Suddenly ramen was shoved in his mouth and a hand held his chin. So Naruto couldn't spit the ramen out.
Naruto chewed and swallowed the ramen.
"There. I'm done." Naruto concluded
But he felt Sakura grab his hands and pull them up to her face.
Naruto felt Sakura shake her head meaning no.
Naruto smiled and stroked what should be Sakura's cheek.
He almost gasped when he saw Sakura for a moment the disappear again.
Sakura noticed that and stepped away from his touch.
No longer feeling Sakura, Naruto asked,
"Are you still here?"
Sakura pushed the ramen towards him.
Naruto chuckled and took the chopsticks and started to eat the ramen.
He suddenly heard Sakura yawn.
"Are you tired Sakura-Chan?" Naruto asked.
"Yea…"
"Well get some sleep."
Sakura didn't answer but Naruto heard Sakura's light footfalls as she walked over to the couch.
In a few minutes Naruto was done with his ramen so he placed it in the sink.
He walked into the living room and smiled.
Naruto could see Sakura again. Her eyes were shut and her breaths were slow.
He walked over to her.
Naruto got down on his knees and watched the blossom sleep.
He caressed Sakura's cheek gently.
Sakura lent into the warmth.
"N-Naruto." She whispered in her sleep.
"I'm here Sakura-Chan." Naruto confirmed.
"I-I'm sorry." She murmured.
Naruto knew why she was sorry.
It was because they couldn't be together.
Yet…
Naruto backed away and watched Sakura for a couple of more minutes.
He sighed.
It's time.
Naruto reached into his weapon pouch. He pulled out a kunai. It radiated in the moonlight.
Naruto smiled at the deadly weapon.
This is it.
He placed the kunai against his heart aiming.
Naruto pulled the kunai back.
But he looked at Sakura one more time.
"I love you my cherry blossom. I will be with you."
Naruto was about to make his final move when he heard a yell,
"No Naruto!!"
It was Sakura.
She was awake and running towards him.
Sakura fell down onto her knees in front of Naruto.
"S-Sakura-Chan." Naruto stuttered.
"What the hell are you doing!" Sakura screamed.
Naruto looked down shamefully then whispered,
"I want to be with you Sakura-Chan."
Sakura looked at him sadly and rested her hand on his cheek.
"I love you Sakura-Chan." Naruto said his voice rising. "And I just want you to be mine!!"
Sakura looked at him then at the kunai.
"Give me it." Sakura demanded.
Naruto shook his head.
Sakura grabbed the blade of the kunai.
Naruto gasped and grabbed Sakura's wrist. Trying to pry her off of the kunai.
"Sakura-Chan!" Naruto bellowed.
"Damnit Naruto!" Sakura yelled.
Naruto froze and let Sakura go on.
"Why Naruto! You have so much ahead of you! Don't throw them away for me!!!"
Naruto's eyes narrowed at her.
Sakura's hand wound kept bleeding.
Ebony blood dripped down her hand.
"I want to be with you Sakura-Chan!!!" Naruto yelled then he whispered in a pleading voice,
"Please let me take my life. I love you."
Sakura looked at him too. Then in a flash let go of the kunai and threw herself into his chest.
Sakura cried hard.
"P-Please Naruto don't do this!!" Sakura sobbed.
Naruto looked down at the crying blossom and gently combed her hair with his fingers.
Sakura looked up at him. Tears cascading down her face.
Naruto placed the kunai in his lap and wiped Sakura's tears away.
Sakura smiled up at him weakly.
Naruto smiled back and slowly lent down…
Their lips met.
The kiss was passionate yet gentle.
Their tongues intertwined and fought.
But Naruto would win this battle…
When they separated They both looked at each other with a smile.
But Naruto's smile faded.
"I'm sorry Sakura-Chan." Naruto apologized
Sakura's smile faded too.
"For what?" Sakura asked.
A moment passed…
Suddenly Naruto grabbed Sakura's shoulders and pushed her away. And grabbed the kunai.
Naruto plunged it into his chest…
"NARUTO!!!" Sakura screamed.
Naruto looked at her. Blood dripping down his chin.
And Naruto smiled…
And Naruto fell.
Sakura ran back to him and cradled him.
But Naruto was dead…
She shook him crying,
"No Naruto! Why are you so stupid!!"
She placed the lifeless body down and cried harder.
Then two strong arms wrapped around her.
She turned to see…
"Naruto.."
Then Sakura hid into his chest crying,
He was wearing a plain white T-shirt with black jeans and a pair of white wings fluffed out behind him.
Sakura stared at him.
Naruto stared at her.
Suddenly, Sakura threw herself into Naruto's chest crying,
"Why are you so stupid!!!!"
Naruto rubbed Sakura's back while she cried. His head resting on top of hers.
"It's alright Sakura-Chan." He whispered.
Sakura looked up at him and shook her head.
"Why? Why did you do this?" She asked.
"Because I love you. You are my angel."
She whispered,
"I love you too."
Naruto smiled and said,
"Everything will be okay now."
She nodded and rested her head on his chest.
"My beautiful angel." Naruto whispered.
"My Naruto-Kun." Sakura whispered back.
He smiled.

"Bye!" They both yelled back before taking off.
"Man, they were shocked to see us." Naruto said.
Sakura smiled.
"Yea and they didn't know who you were so Tazuna hit you with a broom."
Naruto blushed.
"I didn't change that much Sakura-Chan!" Naruto declared.
"They thought you did!" Sakura taunted.
"Sakura-Chan!" Naruto moaned not wishing to recall Tazuna making fun of Naruto for not being a shrimp anymore.
"It true!!" Sakura teased stretching out 'true.'
"You're meeeeaaaann Sakura-Chaaaan!!!"
Sakura stuck her tongue out at the Kyuubi container and ran ahead.
Because of the trees Sakura disappeared from Naruto's sight.
"Hey Sakura-Chan where are you!" Naruto yelled trying to see Sakura.
No answer.
Naruto pushed ahead but Sakura was gone.
"Sakura-Chan!" Naruto yelled.
Silence…
Naruto stopped and looked around.
That's when he heard her.
"Naruto!!!" Sakura screamed sounding like she was in pain.
Naruto turned towards Sakura's voice. It sounded like it was coming from below. So Naruto jumped down.
The sun was setting so it was hard to see through the obscurity of the trees.
Finally a faint whisper,
"Naruto…"
Naruto turned to see a horrific sight.
"Itachi." Naruto hissed.
Itachi was holding Sakura against him. A kunai pressed against her neck.
Her emerald orbs begged him to run.
But Naruto didn't see that.
"Let her go Itachi." Naruto snarled his eye color turning scarlet.
Itachi smirked and retorted,
"Why should I?"
Naruto's claws grew and his whiskers darkened.
Sakura's eyes moistened and she shook her head. Begging him with her eyes not to change.
Itachi noticed Naruto's anger with ease. So he took his kunai and pressed it against her arm.
Itachi pressed harder and moved down.
Sakura whimpered in pain as a long gash was created on her arm.
Naruto growled and took a step towards her.
Itachi shook his head and kept going.
Naruto stopped and took one step back.
"What the hell are you doing!?!?! Fight!!!!!" the Kyuubi roared.
Naruto shook his head. Then growled,
"Stop hurting her! Just tell me what the hell you want!!" Naruto growled.
Itachi stopped and returned the kunai to Sakura's neck.
Itachi released a dark chuckle and said,
"Do you want to save her?"
Naruto nodded furiously.
"Well." Itachi said. "I'll give you couple of choices."
"What are they!!!" Naruto bellowed.
"One, You can walk away and let me have Sakura. Or two, surrender."
Naruto growled,
"Two."
Itachi smiled evilly.
"Alright you surrender but there's something I must do."
Naruto growled,
"What?"
"This."
Sakura screamed in pain as the kunai entered her body.
"SAKURA-CHAN!!" Naruto screamed as he ran towards Sakura.
Itachi released Sakura.
And the cherry blossom fell.
Naruto ran up to Sakura. He fell on his knees and cradled the bloody Sakura.
Itachi smiled.
Naruto looked up at Itachi. Pure hatred in his crimson orbs.
Scarlet chakra surrounded Naruto. Nine tails formed.
He placed the barley breathing Sakura gently on the ruff terrain.
"I'll be right back. Ok Sakura-Chan?" Naruto whispered.
Sakura nodded numbly. Blood pouring out of her wound.
Naruto touched the wound before standing.
Naruto's gaze was locked on the withering cherry blossom. Her eyes were shut from the pain.
Itachi spoke in a cool voice,
"What are you going to do?"
Naruto roared and ran full force towards Itachi.
Naruto's full grown claws entered Itachi's chest. Ripping apart his heart.
Itachi only smiled at him.
"Fool." He whispered.
Poof!
Itachi suddenly disappeared into a puff of smoke.
Itachi was a shadow clone…
Naruto roared at the top of his lungs.
He stopped when he heard a faint plea,
"Naruto. Stop."
He turned to see Sakura struggling to sit up.
Naruto ran towards her yelling,
"No Sakura-Chan lay down!"
He fell on his knees cradling the bloody blossom.
"Please don't leave me Sakura-Chan!" Naruto yelled as he held Sakura close to him.
"I-I'm sorry N-Naruto." Sakura coughed. Spitting out blood.
It wasn't meant to be like this. It should have never happened. It was killing him. He could no longer protect the cherry blossom he adored the most.
He couldn't do anything besides watch.
"No Sakura-Chan don't die! I'll get you to a medic. Please stay here."
Sakura looked up at him. She smiled weakly and reached up to Naruto cheek.
She caressed it gently and whispered,
"Naruto. There's something you need to know."
Sakura started coughing. Choking on her blood.
"Don't speak  Sakura-Chan! Just don't sleep!"
"Naruto, I l-love y-you." Sakura confessed. Slowly dying
Naruto's eyes widened and he smiled and said,
"I love you too Sakura-Chan. But don't leave me now."
"It's my time Naruto…Kun."
"No! It's not your time! You need to stay with me. Please Sakura-Chan I love you!"
Sakura smiled again.
"Naruto, there's so many things I wanted to do with you. And I-I'm sorry we couldn't be together."
Naruto shook his head in denial.
"Don't say things like that! You're going to be fine!"
"Naruto, the kunai had poison on it. It's killing me. I'm going to die. But remember, I love you.."
Sakura's eyes were drooping shut.
"NO! Don't sleep Sakura-Chan!!!!" Naruto yelled shaking her.
"I'm so tired Naruto. Let me sleep."
Sakura's eyes shut. Her breathing slowly stopped.
But Sakura whispered one last thing,
"I will…always…love…you."
Sakura's breathing stopped.
Naruto froze.
"SAKURA-CHAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Naruto howled returning to his Kyuubi form.
He stood destroying everything in his path.
Trees were given no mercy as Naruto took them down with each fatal hit.
The more trees he destroyed the more the pain grew.
Soon Naruto turned back to Sakura.
He stared at her lifeless body.
Naruto walked up to her.
When he was by her side he fell on to his knees.
Naruto lent his head down on Sakura's chest.
"Please Sakura-Chan. Come back. Come back to me."
But he knew it was too late.
He was always too late.
Too late to save Sasuke.
Too late to save Sakura.
He was too late for Gaara causing lady Chiyo to give her life for him.
He was always too late…

2 months later…
It's been two months since Sakura died. But her presence still ligers.
Ino swears she hears Sakura call,
"Ino-pig!"
Rock Lee says he hears Sakura saying she loves him. (Heh, Sorry had too.)
Kakashi hears Sakura yell at him for being late.
And Naruto…
Just isn't Naruto anymore.
When Sakura died Naruto was pulled into the depths of depression. He doesn't speak barley. You're lucky if you even get a, "Hi." out of him.
Kakashi tried to talk to Naruto but he would only get a nod of Naruto's head.
Ino tried to make Naruto think that Sakura was a flower. That she just wilted and died early even though she's young. She said some baby flowers or almost grown up flowers just die.
Naruto just nodded and left the flower shop.
Shikamaru explained that Sakura wasn't no longer in pain. That up there she's happy and watching over him.
Naruto just nodded his head and left.
That's how it worked.
The only one that could heal him was the one that caused it.
Sakura…
Now Naruto was laying on his bed in the darkness. The moon was high in the sky and it's light hit Naruto. Making him stand out.
Naruto's arms were bloody and still bleeding. In Naruto's hand was a piece of glass.
The glass held bloodstains proving what happened.
Naruto was cutting himself…
"Naruto move on. You're killing us. Plus you're not letting me heal you." The Kyuubi spoke.
'Only Sakura-Chan can heal me.' Naruto spoke mentally.
"SHE'S GONE!" the Kyuubi bellowed.
'I want to die. I want to be with Sakura-Chan.'
"No! If you die, I die! Do you want that?"
'Yes.'
Before the Kyuubi could go on Naruto heard something.
A laugh.
A girl laugh.
Naruto stood and ran out of his bedroom.
That laugh was no ordinary one.
It was Sakura's.
Naruto ran into his living room to find…
Nothing.
Except a hot bowl of beef ramen sitting on a TV stand.
Well, Naruto has not been eating.
Plus his house was spotless.
Naruto never cleaned his house since Sakura died.
It was always just clean.
Naruto shook his head at that.
No, he probably made the ramen and forgot it.
Naruto turned and walked into the bathroom.
He walked into the bathroom and turned on the sink.
Naruto washed is face trying to erase those memories.
Naruto lifted his head up to look in the mirror. And saw it.
Sakura…
She was wearing a white dress that stopped at her knees and her shoulder long her flowed out around her like a halo. Plus a pair of small white wings were opened up behind her.
Sakura didn't know Naruto was staring at her from the mirror. She was looking the other way shamefully.
"Sakura-Chan." Naruto whispered.
Sakura threw her gaze back to Naruto.
He turned towards her.
Sakura looked at him sadly.
"Is it really you?" Naruto asked.
Sakura nodded and reached up to caress his cheek.
Naruto lent into the warmth.
Sakura brought her gaze down to Naruto's arms.
She grabbed the right one with her left hand and stared at the cuts.
Sakura shook her head and placed one hand over the markings.
White energy spilled out of her hand and on to the cuts.
Naruto felt relief from it and whispered,
"My cherry blossom."
Sakura blushed from that.
"Why aren't you speaking?"
Sakura looked up at him with a smile and whispered,
"I don't want too."
Naruto smirked gave Sakura his other arm.
As Sakura healed it she smiled.
"No more cutting." Sakura demanded.
"Deal." Naruto said happy that Sakura came back.
Sakura finished Naruto's arm. She let it go and looked up at him.
"Bye Naruto." Sakura whispered turning away and walking towards the door.
"No! Sakura-Chan don't leave me!!" Naruto yelled.
Naruto snaked his arms around Sakura's waist and turned her towards him. Naruto pulled her against him.
Sakura looked up at him sadly.
Naruto lent his head on her chest and cried hard.
"P-Please S-Sakura-Chan. I-I need you. Don't leave me again."
Sakura played with Naruto's sunshine hair.
"I need to leave Naruto."
Naruto shook his head in denial.
"No. I don't want to lose you."
"I don't want to lose you again either Naruto."
Naruto looked into her eyes.
"Then stay here."
"I can't Naruto."
Sakura reached out and wiped Naruto's tears.
"I cause you so much pain. You shouldn't have even seen me tonight. I have to go. You must understand that I can't be with you. If I stay. It will only give you pain for when I leave." Sakura explained.
"Then stay here with me."
Sakura smiled sadly and gently took Naruto's arms.
She peeled him off of her.
She looked him in the eyes and gave him something Naruto always wanted from Sakura.
A kiss.
Naruto Backed Sakura into a wall. Pinning her hands successfully.
Naruto's passion-hot tongue came out and roamed over Sakura's lips. Asking for and entry.
Sakura let him pass and immediately felt passion burn her.
Their tongues fought, seeking dominance.
Soon they sadly separated.
Naruto and Sakura's foreheads pressed against each other.
Since Naruto still held Sakura she couldn't leave.
Naruto pulled back to look at his cherry blossom.
She looked up at him with a smile.
Naruto looked down at her with one as well.
He lent down at rested his lips on her neck.
Sakura tilted her head to the other side. Enjoying it.
Naruto smirked against Sakura's pale skin.
He moved up to Sakura's ear and whispered into it,
"Can you stay Sakura-Chan?"
Sakura froze.
She sighed and whispered,
"I don't want to hurt you."
Naruto's hold on her loosened.
Feeling more room Sakura escaped Naruto's warmth.
She looked at him sadly as he turned and stared into her eyes.
"I love you Naruto, Don't forget that." Sakura reminded him.
"NO!" Naruto yelled reaching out to grab her.
Sakura turned and ran to the shower.
She jumped.
Suddenly Sakura was gone.
She was no longer there.
Naruto's eyes widened.
"N-No. I-I lost you again Sakura-Chan."
Naruto laid down on the cold bathroom floor and went into fetal position.
Tears fell like rain down Naruto's face.
"Why! Please come back Sakura-Chan! I need you!"
Naruto cried himself to sleep and his last thought was,
'I just want to die.'

Naruto woke up that morning with something warm wrapped around his body. And something soft under his head.
He pushed himself up to find a pillow under him and a warm blanket wrapped around him.
Naruto's eyes widened.
Sakura had come back.
She did this for him.
Naruto stood and ran into the living room. Hoping to see if the little angel stayed.
She wasn't there.
Naruto walked into the kitchen to find some eggs and bacon on a china plate with a glass of milk beside it.
Naruto looked around the kitchen when something caught his eye.
On the fridge was a note written on a piece on notebook paper. The words neat and clean.
It was Sakura's handwriting.
It hung from a magnet.
He ripped it away from it and read the note.
Dear Naruto,
Sorry that I won't say this to you're face. So here it goes, I'll always be near you. But you probably won't see me again. I can be invisible so you're not going to see me until you move on.
I just want to let you know that I love you so much. I wanted to tell you that. But, I was afraid. I didn't want my heart to be broken again. Forgive me for causing you pain. This is the only way.

Naruto stared at the note acting like he was deciphering some code. But as soon as it hit Naruto he fell on his knees.
"No Sakura-Chan! I want to see you again!!"
Suddenly an idea came to mind.
He got up and grabbed the plate of food.
He was going to eat it but.
Sakura always came first.
He threw it on the ground.
The glass shattered and food covered the floor.
Naruto dropped down on his knees and picked up a shard.
He made a promise.
But he needed to break it.
Naruto pulled up his jacket sleeve and pressed the shard against his arm.
Suddenly the glass piece flew out of his hand and went to the other side of the room.
Naruto grabbed another one and yelled into the emptiness of the room,
"If you don't want me to cut myself then show yourself to me Sakura-Chan!!"
Naruto heard a light sigh but he didn't see Sakura. So he pressed it against his arm.
"You idiot!" He heard Sakura yell.
"I…want to see you Sakura-Chan."
Suddenly Naruto felt someone stroking his cheek.
"That's not want I want Sakura-Chan. I want to see you."
"Alright. Release!" Sakura said.
Suddenly Sakura started to appear.
Her body lucent then became solid.
Soon you could see Sakura fully.
Naruto smiled and whispered,
"There's my cherry blossom."
Sakura smiled back.
Her hand kept stroking him.
Naruto closed his eyes to the warmth.
"Don't cut Naruto. It scares me."
"I'm sorry Sakura-Chan." Naruto apologized.
Sakura stopped petting him and stood up along with Naruto.
"I can't stay Naruto. You must move on."
Naruto shook his head.
"No. I won't move on. You're my heaven Sakura." Naruto said
She smiled.
"And you're my earth." Sakura pointed out.
Naruto smiled and whispered,
"Are you going to stay?"
Sakura shook her head and made a symbol.
"I can't."
Sakura started to disappear again.
"NO!" Naruto bellowed reaching out to her again.
But Sakura was gone.
Again…

Naruto wasn't going to give up.
He'll chase her down.
Over and over.
Naruto looked at Sakura's note again.
You're not going to see me until you move on.
Naruto got an idea.
He's knew what to do to be with Sakura.
Even though it will cost him his life…

It was midnight and Naruto was dressed. Wearing a black t-shirt with his orange pants. Naruto made sure he had his weapons before walking out of his bedroom.
As Naruto passed through the living room and sweet scent hit his nose.
Ramen.
Naruto turned and walked into the kitchen.
There on the table was another steaming bowl of ramen.
"You want me to eat before I go?"
He felt Sakura give him a small push towards it.
"Sakura-Chan I can't." Naruto spoke with a laugh.
This time he felt Sakura grab his hand and pull him over to the table.
Naruto resisted.
"Damn." Sakura spoke. "You're heavy."
Naruto smiled.
Sakura pulled him over to the table and made him sit down in front of the ramen. Then took Naruto's hand and made him grab the chopsticks.
"I'm not hungry Sakura-Chan." Naruto whined.
He heard Sakura let out a huff in disappointment.
"Talk to me Sakura-Chan." Naruto demanded.
"If I talk then you won't heal." Sakura explained.
Naruto sighed and played with his chopsticks.
He heard Sakura groan.
Suddenly his nose pinched together. Causing Naruto not to breathe.
Sakura was holding his nose.
Naruto kept his mouth shut up finally Naruto needed air.
He let out a big breath.
Suddenly ramen was shoved in his mouth and a hand held his chin. So Naruto couldn't spit the ramen out.
Naruto chewed and swallowed the ramen.
"There. I'm done." Naruto concluded
But he felt Sakura grab his hands and pull them up to her face.
Naruto felt Sakura shake her head meaning no.
Naruto smiled and stroked what should be Sakura's cheek.
He almost gasped when he saw Sakura for a moment the disappear again.
Sakura noticed that and stepped away from his touch.
No longer feeling Sakura, Naruto asked,
"Are you still here?"
Sakura pushed the ramen towards him.
Naruto chuckled and took the chopsticks and started to eat the ramen.
He suddenly heard Sakura yawn.
"Are you tired Sakura-Chan?" Naruto asked.
"Yea…"
"Well get some sleep."
Sakura didn't answer but Naruto heard Sakura's light footfalls as she walked over to the couch.
In a few minutes Naruto was done with his ramen so he placed it in the sink.
He walked into the living room and smiled.
Naruto could see Sakura again. Her eyes were shut and her breaths were slow.
He walked over to her.
Naruto got down on his knees and watched the blossom sleep.
He caressed Sakura's cheek gently.
Sakura lent into the warmth.
"N-Naruto." She whispered in her sleep.
"I'm here Sakura-Chan." Naruto confirmed.
"I-I'm sorry." She murmured.
Naruto knew why she was sorry.
It was because they couldn't be together.
Yet…
Naruto backed away and watched Sakura for a couple of more minutes.
He sighed.
It's time.
Naruto reached into his weapon pouch. He pulled out a kunai. It radiated in the moonlight.
Naruto smiled at the deadly weapon.
This is it.
He placed the kunai against his heart aiming.
Naruto pulled the kunai back.
But he looked at Sakura one more time.
"I love you my cherry blossom. I will be with you."
Naruto was about to make his final move when he heard a yell,
"No Naruto!!"
It was Sakura.
She was awake and running towards him.
Sakura fell down onto her knees in front of Naruto.
"S-Sakura-Chan." Naruto stuttered.
"What the hell are you doing!" Sakura screamed.
Naruto looked down shamefully then whispered,
"I want to be with you Sakura-Chan."
Sakura looked at him sadly and rested her hand on his cheek.
"I love you Sakura-Chan." Naruto said his voice rising. "And I just want you to be mine!!"
Sakura looked at him then at the kunai.
"Give me it." Sakura demanded.
Naruto shook his head.
Sakura grabbed the blade of the kunai.
Naruto gasped and grabbed Sakura's wrist. Trying to pry her off of the kunai.
"Sakura-Chan!" Naruto bellowed.
"Damnit Naruto!" Sakura yelled.
Naruto froze and let Sakura go on.
"Why Naruto! You have so much ahead of you! Don't throw them away for me!!!"
Naruto's eyes narrowed at her.
Sakura's hand wound kept bleeding.
Ebony blood dripped down her hand.
"I want to be with you Sakura-Chan!!!" Naruto yelled then he whispered in a pleading voice,
"Please let me take my life. I love you."
Sakura looked at him too. Then in a flash let go of the kunai and threw herself into his chest.
Sakura cried hard.
"P-Please Naruto don't do this!!" Sakura sobbed.
Naruto looked down at the crying blossom and gently combed her hair with his fingers.
Sakura looked up at him. Tears cascading down her face.
Naruto placed the kunai in his lap and wiped Sakura's tears away.
Sakura smiled up at him weakly.
Naruto smiled back and slowly lent down…
Their lips met.
The kiss was passionate yet gentle.
Their tongues intertwined and fought.
But Naruto would win this battle…
When they separated They both looked at each other with a smile.
But Naruto's smile faded.
"I'm sorry Sakura-Chan." Naruto apologized
Sakura's smile faded too.
"For what?" Sakura asked.
A moment passed…
Suddenly Naruto grabbed Sakura's shoulders and pushed her away. And grabbed the kunai.
Naruto plunged it into his chest…
"NARUTO!!!" Sakura screamed.
Naruto looked at her. Blood dripping down his chin.
And Naruto smiled…
And Naruto fell.
Sakura ran back to him and cradled him.
But Naruto was dead…
She shook him crying,
"No Naruto! Why are you so stupid!!"
She placed the lifeless body down and cried harder.
Then two strong arms wrapped around her.
She turned to see…
"Naruto.."
Then Sakura hid into his chest crying,
He was wearing a plain white T-shirt with black jeans and a pair of white wings fluffed out behind him.
Sakura stared at him.
Naruto stared at her.
Suddenly, Sakura threw herself into Naruto's chest crying,
"Why are you so stupid!!!!"
Naruto rubbed Sakura's back while she cried. His head resting on top of hers.
"It's alright Sakura-Chan." He whispered.
Sakura looked up at him and shook her head.
"Why? Why did you do this?" She asked.
"Because I love you. You are my angel."
She whispered,
"I love you too."
Naruto smiled and said,
"Everything will be okay now."
She nodded and rested her head on his chest.
"My beautiful angel." Naruto whispered.
"My Naruto-Kun." Sakura whispered back.
He smiled.
Sakura will always be his angel…
