Thank you so much! And yeah, I kind of failed drawing Seitaro's hair XD It was supposed to be wavy because it was floating but maybe I made it too wavy orz

Rin was desperate as she was probably starved to death when the old man locked her up down there (and coupled with dehydration, and mental and physical stress too- While the events of the game were running, we see Rin not getting any proper sleep because she was looking around for clues that might save Yuka, and crazy events unfolding one after another...) It's no surprise that she went off the deep end, poor thing.
Yaobikuni (which is the bad end you're referring to) is about a witch who stayed immortal because she ate a mermaid's flesh so in Mermaid Swamp it's debatable whether Rin actually became a Yaobikuni or just went insane. I'm betting on the latter, tho.
Thanks for the fave!Β

ya the ending were she eats the mermaid was the first end I got but I always make sure to get all the endings so when I got the good ending were she finds the truth that they wernt mermaids but regular girls I laughed because that means she wasn't immortal and she proberly just ran into a forest and killed herself thinking she wouldn't die... but still sad

Only one good ending...Β
And no I can't take the axe even if I wanted to, just why can't I force Rin to do it? D:< She likes Seitaro enough to do that ;u;

Seitaro was my favorite by far. I was upset when he died.
My first "Ending" was when Seitaro gets possessed and drowns you.
The first real one was with Seitaro and Rin drowning together. I accidentally killed Yuuta and Yuka when I lit the fireplace based off of reasoning that cold = death while warmth = Life.
I stilled liked that ending though.

OMG a Seitaro fan asdfgh lemme hug you I love him so much you have no idea hahah
You got the 'Forever Deep' ending, right? I had so many SeiRin feels from that ending I love all endings, Uri made a masterpiece out of Mermaid Swamp
I nearly lit the fireplace before my friend went "OH NO NO NO DON'T LIGHT THE FIREPLACE" so I didn't orzΒ
Thanks for faving!

Welcome <3
But yeah, Mermaid swamp was really good. I want to try and play the japanese version, if only to see if Rin is as rude as she comes off as or if it was a translation mistake. My japanese teacher had made it very clear that being rude to your elders was a big red "NO" and I got this feeling of Rin being incredibly rude. Calling the old man "Gramps" and the like.
