Knight Rider was a popular crime fighting series that starred David Hasselhoff ran between 1982-86 on NBC. The show featured Hasselhoff in the role of Michael Knight, resurrected by a crime-fighting organization and teamed up with a high-tech automobile called KITT (Knight Industries Two Thousand).
