Is no one going to question how Izm got that dirty? Is the hem of his shirt torn in the first two panels, or is that mud? And did Izm just happen to be carrying a change of clothes with him, or does he keep a spare set in .D's bathroom?
This is adorable, but not too surprising. I'm more surprised that .D doesn't complain about Izm's singing. Aside from that, TEACH ME HANDS, MASTER. I keep having to cheat by hiding one or more of them.

There's a spare change of clothes in his backpack lol (you can see him carry it in the first 2 panels). Although i wouldn't put it past him to have left clothes in .D's room on occasion too since some of them would go through with .D's laundry etc.
He yells through the door if Izm is singing something particularly grating
YOUNG GRASSHOPPER THE KEY TO DRAWING HANDS is to first start by not hiding them so you literally are forcing yourself to have to draw them XD Like my hands are nowhere near correct but they are better than when i started (claws were fine in IZ-esque style but not being able to draw 5 fingers on a hand was a bit weird when the style became more anime lol). It also is easier to break them down into simpler shapes to begin with and to ref some hands in action where possible

I saw the backpack, but I figured that having spare clothes in it was thinking farther ahead than Izm usually does. From what I've gathered, D.'s usually the one who deals with such foreplanning. I am enamored with the theory that Izm stole some of D.'s clothes--it seems like something he would do, if for no other reason than to annoy D.
What do you mean "nowhere near correct"? They look great. If nothing else, they look natural. And I guess I need to find some references, then. I've tried the "simpler shapes" thing, but that flopped pretty quickly. But it's so much easier to just hide them.

Ah like, when i break them into simple shapes it's more like a kinda wedge shape for the palm and then tapered sausages for the fingers with occasional segmented bits if there are knuckles etc i need to bend. It helps just to build up the generic look of the hand
