Mafia AU!The Don's teenage grandson and his friends had created their own little family within the Family.
This was rather concerning to the adults. No one knew exactly where their loyalties lay.
A.E.D: The Don's grandson, heir of the Italian [REDACTED] Mafia Family.
Izm: Street rat taken in young by the Family after a particular incident showcased his potential. Grew up with .D. His job as the "shield" is to make sure he always gets in between .D and danger to protect the heir. Considered expendable by the Family; they seemed to think .D shared this sentiment. Boy were they surprised.
Zeke: Bodyguard. His parents were very honoured that their "ideally sized" son was given such a prestigious job.
Wei Ren: Youngest son of the leader of the partnering Chinese Triad. "On loan" to the Italian Mafia as a gesture of camaraderie (also, his father used this opportunity as a means of planting a mole within the Family. However, Ren does not seem to have anything of interest to report back. Hmmm). .D's (and by default the others) tutor/study buddy. Also occasionally used as an accountant. Now knows some of the monetary secrets of both the Mafia and the Triad.
Marcus: Child of two of the Family's rostered lawyers. Met the others quite by accident at a function (nothing scares off your antagonisers like the heir and his friends suddenly looming over your shoulder). The other boys find his sweet decidedly non-Mafia-capable personality endearing and will protect him at all costs.

you already know how i feel about this one after all those previews so here's a long list of tiny details that i like whether or not they were intentional:
Zeke's tiny barely there widow's peak
the fact that Zeke is in complementary colors to .D as opposed to his normal scheme
Marcus's very nicely shaded glowing angel hair
Zeke's tie is slightly sloppier in knotwork than the other two's
Marcus has a fucking bow tie
Ren's ridiculous body language just makes me think 'khajit have wares if you have coin'
Izm is a grinning idiot in everything but Ren has like become the smirky fuck of the group
.D's very nice silk tie
Ren's well manicured eyebrows lol
Izm's leather riding boots that have that smol heel on them
Izm has....such small feet. I love my miniature son.
The detail on his leatherish belt is v v v nice
who is taking this picture
along with .D's skintone getting darker over the years so has Izm's, and in a lot of things his hair gets curlier too, its just an interesting shift and makes me curious about his heritage.

Aaaah thank you! I tried to pay really close attention to the shading on their clothes so it would look sorta more like...actual clothes (Izm's belt and .D's tie were my faves to colour haha)
"GLOWING ANGEL HAIR" i will forever laugh at that XDD
The person taking the photo is the hired photographer like if you're gonna have family portraits the Family is gonna get a pro to do them Actually they were only meant to take the normal family portrait (all the inner circle) but then they got strongarmed into taking this one as well lol.
second photo with martini girl pose Izm in .D's lap, draw me like one of your french girls pose Marcus and Zeke and Ren being stupid in the bg. .D pretty much the same except looking long suffering and trying not to smile XDD
