I needed something to get me out of this damn artistic rut. Y'know that feeling where you really want to do some art/animations but at the same time you really can't be stuffed? Yeah, well i have that.

Anyway! So i just started drawing with maybe a pic of my two boys ZIM and AED in mind and this cool pose came out. And from that stemmed the rest of the picture. I think the longest thing i did was the background, because at first i had no fucking idea what to draw and i really didn't want to leave them floating in empty space (as i would usually do ). So in the end i took a pic from one of the IZ downloadable background packs, traced over it to get the shape of the buildings and then just went crazy and modified everything greatly. Yah, the background is pretty much total Darqx work. and it's the best bg i've ever done (to date)! I'm happy

Oh, and i love my explosions. i say! ! There are like, three (3) totally different explosions layered over one another to make one big happy explosion. Oh, and if you're wondering why there are pink and white "dots" falling from that building over there *points* it's because they're sparks coming from the pink neon lights on that building. Yah, the top ones are short circuiting because of the fire.

[STORY]

"Nice bomb rigging work," AED leaned over and grinned down at the elusive soul that had evaded him for over 250 years, now trapped like a pathetic bug underneath his foot. Well, if there was any time to be smug, it was now. He put more weight on his right, "oh, and by the way, those buildings are empty. It's amazing how fast humans run when you make things appear to move by themselves."

ZIM grimaced. Great. All that work and the only person that had died had been that one security cop he had killed. If there was one thing ZIM hated, it was going through so much trouble in order to kill a crapload of people and then not having people die for it.

...speaking of which, if he didn't do something now the only other person that would dying tonight would be him.
