These are the portraits I captured on the first Sunday (7/24/22) at the Canterbury Renaissance Festival. It is held in Silverton Oregon on the last weekend of July. My Wife, Tia was also there as a Psychic Tarot Reader in the As Above vendor booth near the jousting arena. This was just a few hours of shooting, but took me a full 2 weeks of mind-numbing work to sort and process those image files to share with you here. I captured them with my high-resolution Nikon D850 with a speedlite on top that triggers a 600Ws strobe behind a 25" soft-box light modifier. This is so I could keep the ISO down to the lowest base 64 setting and a tighter aperture of f/13 for better focal depth for nice sharp pictures with good color saturation.
