Description I had driven my Son out to Newberg, Oregon again for his next horse riding lesson, and captured some more shots.

This was shot with my Nikon D810 hand held using a 28mm - 300mm Nikkor zoom lens set at 230mm, ISO 400, F/8, 1/80. I still had to do extensive editing on most of these in post.

They offer very cheap lessons at just $50 for the 2 hours indoor arena with horse and saddle provided. She can offer discounts and a sliding scale for this cost if that is too high. It is best to have their own leather boots and an authorized riding helmet. The instructor is Joyce Harrer we met through Village Home for Home-Schoolers. She says these horses are from an animal rescue. If you are in the area and are interested she can be contacted through Ph# (503) 705-0356.
