Description Here's a few shots from a continuation of the beginner's class on studio lighting for glamour shots.

I would love to lavish GP (instructor) with praise, which he had earned in the past, but this again was not what he had promised us. There was some minor lighting changes, but no time for props or outfit changes, and again too much talk and not enough shooting. The actual shooting time was not more than 1.5 hours out of what was suppose to be a full 3 hours to divide up between the 11 participants. So, I was lucky to get to use the light trigger for maybe 5 minutes out of the 4+ hours it took to get there and back. I captured 180 frames in all

The cost was negligible at $20 and about $10 in fuel, but my time to far too valuable, as well as my loss of family time on a Sunday for what little I was able to capture. I was prepared to pay another $300 cash for a 1 on 1 session with her afterwards, but our communication some how failed, so that was no longer an option. I got a handful of nice shots, but certainly not what I was hoping for. I did my best to remain casual and pleasant throughout. Nothing gained by being a sour-puss. (LOL)

Just my 2 cents, as GP had requested of us. And knowing how only positive feedback is worthless, other than making GP feel great to think everything went flawlessly. My intent is not to offend at all. Just taking the time to offer some constructive criticism. I am sure others loved it, but that is not my story to tell.

This was the first time out of the 4 sessions at Infinity Point Studio I was not able to use any studio lighting the way I wanted, and no interesting background to use, so it seemed like a step backwards. Such as out political climate. Although it is always a delight to mingle with some other local shooters.
