For over the last 2 decades I have enjoyed attending eclectic events like this 2017 Rose City Comic Con to see and capture images of interesting people who have invested in creating an alternate persona, as you see here. More recently I had gone to the trouble to set up my portable studio lights at these public events, but this year they would not allow me to do that. I was using a full frame Nikon D810 DSLR w/28-300mm Nikkor lens with just a speed-lite on top.
