Description Some gift art for ~dragon4989 . This is sort of a "casual" take on her character, Dracil. I figure I at least owe her this for handling Szordrin’s attitude as well as she did.

Ah, finally... A squantly dressed female Drow. And she's cute to. And she seems naugh-tay to. With that look in her eyes and the way she seems to be going to move a part of those spider-panties aside so we can get a better look at-

Great coloring on the skin, DD. Really makes it look like it has this silky, smooth feel to it. The dagger's nice, as is the outfit. But what the heck is up with the buckle for the panties?!? That must be so damn cold in the morning...

Okay, I have to admit, no one has EVER said that to me before. Why? Because I suck at drawing hands…they are one of my MANY bad points. I’ll admit that I am “relatively happy” with how the hands turned out in this one though so… Thanks!

…But it is still my belief that you HAVE gone insane…I just think it happened a long, long time ago.

Oh, hell, I've been insane since anyone could remember.
Meh, I HATE my hands that I draw. Always have.
Can I jut ask you something though? How many tries (About) does it take to get your hands right?

Hell, I usually DON’T get them right! Have you seen that last pic with Shand and Szordrin? 6 hands in that pic, and all of them look like shit!

With this pic though (Dracil), I was having a “good day” apparently. Her left hand I got with one try, though I had to go back and thin the fingers out a bit afterwards. Her right hand took about…3 or 4 tries I think.

This is NOT the norm for me though. There have been times where I just had to stop for fear of putting a damned hole in the paper from erasing and redrawing so much, heh.

I dunno (Not a pitty comment, a true oppinion) I actually thought you did ok with the hands in that Szordrin & Shand picture! As is the same with all artists: "You're your own worste critic!"

I've SLOWLY been getting better... But unfortunelty (As I like to work pure pen) I can't fix what I mess up on. =/

Which is exactly why I CAN’T use pen, heh.

And I honestly don’t see how you do so damned good with your pen works. They are amazing! I actually tried that recently (JUST drawing with pen, and no pencil sketching) and oh my god…it was pathetic. F**king embarrassing really! It has a new home in the trashcan now.

I start with a wire frame drawn lightly in pen, then just scrible over it. (So i'm not doing it without guidelines.)

Meh, I'm sure that with practice you could draw anyway you want.
