Description
A commission piece for *miserythedrow of his dervish Moon Elf, Myth. His characters have the coolest names don’t they?
What to say about this piece… Well, the sword is a frost weapon and deals cold damage and I tried to show this with some “magic” effects. The frosty effects didn’t turn out as good as I would have hoped for, but *miserythedrow liked it so I left it alone. I really like how his name turned out in the background though. I was originally going to just have the triangle with the wings (his tattoo) in the background but I realized it looked like an M, so I painted in the rest of his name and tried to make it look interesting. It looks like a mix of hieroglyphics and Chinese writing to me. I think it’s cool. I also like his scabbard and want to steal it from him, hehe. And anyone notice how I’m all about the textured backgrounds now? I love em, hehe.

the clothes are from cloud and the hair looks a lot like from sephiroth gotta tell u that looks obvious.... but till nice cuz luks better than then ^^ nice work

Hair looks nothing like Sephiroths...they are both long haired, beyond that there are no similarities. And the clothes were partially drawn based on a description I recieved from the person who commissioned me to draw this while the rest was pulled from my own mind. Period.
Also, the comments for this (and all my commissions) are marked as Critique Not Desired. I do this because the person who paid for the picture already looked it over and was 100% happy with it and their opinion on the pic is really the only one that matters to me. Might want to pay more attention to that in the future.

I love all the black! Great job on showing all the different shades, so they don't get all blended together. The shading and highlighting creat great texture.

I actually prefer the way you color black leather myself. You're really good at making the sheen on the material.

Love his clothing, and that sword is really beatiful too. A shame we can't see the tatoo "full size" tho', as it seems to have a whole mess of details. Still, an amazing piece.

Not really missing much there with the tattoo. It's just a green triangle with two white feathered wings extending from behind it. A simple design (yay!) but an interesting one too.

Thanks! 90% of it was drawn based on ~miserythedrow 's description. So, minus a few liberties I took with the design, it all came from his head, so I can't take full credit for it. Glad ya like it though!

The sword is excellent, but I just love the way you can make the the traditional pin-up poses very fresh. Plus, you seem to instill some of the attitude of the character in the way he holds himself.

Yea, that's what he asked for. And I like the all black clothes and black hair and stuff, especially with the pale skin. Has a goth feel! Sure it's hard to color all that black, but I still like it...I'm notoriously afraid of colors though so...

Colors can be good, but sometimes black is just kick ass. And I thought his hair was always red? Maybe it does change but I've never seen anyone draw him in any other mood than the red haired one. So he's like a walking drow mood ring? Tch ... worst god ever than!

Oh I also met to thank you for the link. Unfortunatly I don't have access to a lot of older 2nd edition stuff so I'm pretty much solely relying on third edition stuff to help me out. Despite the fact we started playing back when I was 7 ( wow, almost 16 years ago ... do I feel old or what), a lot of our material slowly vanished in time. Plus we used the collective pool. As in our group all tried to buy different books and we just shared them. I wasn't the one supplying the FR stuff at the time, safe for Waterdeep. Ah well, when your young, you don't have a lot of money to try to get everything you can, so we did the best we could ^_^.
Living on our own though, my wife and I have finally come into our own with some cash flow. Still trying to stay reasonable but little by little we're getting these things knocked out. The last information I have on Vhaeraun is Faiths and Pantheons for the FR for 3rd edition. They dont exactly go into the greatest detail for the lesser gods (or lesser known). I applaud you on your site once again though. Whether it was you or someone else, looks like it took FOREVER! Great detail.

Yea, I saw a lot of information in there. Heck, I noticed just about the whole Complete Warrior in there between the feats and prestige classes. A lot of house rule and variant rule information too. Pretty much a tropical rain forest of stuff. Not the biggest fan of lots of variant rules and house rules, but the options are out there to allow all kinds of play. I started looking through it to try and think about signing up for the waiting list, but the flaw system variant as well as a few other things caused my head to spin >_< I work so many hours I never have enough time to sit down and try to learn it with my wife who also roleplays (as you can see with her characters, Velrose being my wife) but time isn't on our side it seems. Plus I noticed the stats of some of the characters and attacks and number of attacks and I knew I was lost. One of these days I WILL sort through it all and figure out how your gaming variants play into things! It just looks like it's going to have to be bits and pieces at a time. Bare with me till than ^_^

Wow you noticed the Complete Warrior stuff eh? I typed all that up, took a year but it's there. Took a break from that book but I can literally quote the book now from looking at it for 8 months everyday.

The dice aspect I get. It's just normal D&D d20 system except for all the twists and turns. Flaw variant for one and the stats for some of the characters being beyond anything I'm used to. Heck I saw Xull'rae in the end gets like 14 attacks with two weapons. I thought I knew the game pretty well, but I guess i'm behind on some things >_<
And yea, Complete Warrior I noticed. I love that book. Has most of my favorite prestige classes. I'm a melee type ^_^

Frenzied Berserker is mighty pimp. Very hardcore. A scary prestige class and for now one I had to ban from our games for a player to use. To many turn around PC death rates. I suppose there are those perks as far as the favorite goes ^_^. I'm not the biggets fan of uber stats and stuff, but if it's fun for you than work it!! Rock that game ^_^!
As far as flaws go, my wife reminded me of one back a few magazines back. The flaw was "You are dead, but you gain an extra feat" Totally worth it for the extra feat ^_^

I've never been the biggest fan of Vhaeraun. I've pretty much been a Lolth supporter all the way as far as ... ahem ... as my wife would say ... "Hamster ebil" drow. It's probally why I have Misery and Exile are always killing off the Vhaeraunites >_<. It's an addiciton ^_^
