Finally uploaded to DeviantART!^^ My hardest Deviation finished after over 4 Weeks hard work! I worked alone on this project nearby. The idea behind the project "DeviantART City" was to imagine DeviantART as a City! This is only 1 of 1000 possibilities to create DeviantART as a City. The Website DeviantART exist since over 12 years and this Deviation is part of the Birthday... just a bit to late!

DeviantART City has been build in Minecraft, because i'm not using really strongly other 3D graphicprograms and Minecraft is very easy to learn. i'm very interested to get critic for this work!^^^Write and you maybe get paid with points!

You need the full game of Minecraft to use the Mainfile(Savefile)! Download links are available down here! Open the Rar file and put the Folder in to: C:UsersDavidAppDataRoaming.minecraftsaves

The clarity looks crystal clear like HD! I love how you seperated the different topics of DA in the city. The bottom left picture astonishes me because of the way it is conveyed to me. It looks like a library, and you took into consideration that not only paintings and drawings are a form of art...but also writings and books. To me, I can't think of anything to make it better. But then again, I am not that great of an artist, so I can't judge on that. But from what I see, it looks perfect.

I am nowhere near an expert concerning 3D graphics, but I can see the effort you have put into this and I am amazed by all the little details I see in this model!

I like the idea of making deviantArt site into the town, it is an interesting concept and it makes one wonder about various things that person would be able to experience or see in such city - wonderful feed for thought and imagination e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/>

I must admit, however, that at first I was little bit confused with the complexity of this city you created, it is a big project so maybe it would be nice to have a tourguide - a description of what each of the parts is, maybe some background or short history. And apart from admiring your determination for working with minecraft, I would love to see this project in more detailed program that lets you play with more aspects that can be present in this kind of city as well as use more estetic means of presenting your design.

I'm working already on 2 Minecraft maps! 1 for the future and the other one in a middle ages. DA City took me over 4 weeks, but it depends how big i'm doing the next one.

Irgendwie ist Minecraft fΓΌr mich eher ein Programm als ein Spiel! Alleine an so einer Stadt zu bauen kostet echt eine menge Zeit! Du hast vielleicht keine Zeit, aber wenn du irgenwann mal das ausprobieren mΓΆchtest kannst du es machen!^^ Ich glaub du hattest mal gesagt das du Minecraft gelΓΆscht hast? Bin mir sowieso nicht mehr sicher!

naja aber letztenendes ist es ja doch nur ein spiel aber ich versteh schon, wie du das meinst

glaube ich dir, leider habe ich die zeit nicht, wollte ich ja frΓΌher auch mal machen, aber mir fehlt es auch da reichlich an kreativitΓ€t sowie geduld

wenn ich irgendwann mal wieder minecraft draufhaben sollte, denn wird deine stadt zu spielen, das erste sein, was ich mit minecraft tun werde wollte es letztnes schon wieder draufmachen, also ich die stadt und vids bei yt gesehen habe ist wirklich ein sehr gutes werk geworden

This is amazing. I'm exploring it right now and I am very impressed with the amount of detail and effort you put into this. I keep trying to make stuff like this but I just don't have the patients. I am impressed. (I'm playing in peaceful I don't want to hurt anything.) I love this map.

Do you really love it?! i made it with very much love!^^ so you got the full game Minecraft like me?

i'm used about 70% of the time working with the singleplayer commands which you can get here: [link] otherwise i would take actually very long to do it alone! the spc is not compatible with version 1.3.1, but he's fixing it. it's actually very easy to install, if you choice the
Automated Installation!^^ Youtube videos can help much.

I did! I still haven't explored the whole thing! There so much! I've explored your Castle and DA headquarters and working on other parts. It's so beautiful! You really did a great job! I am impressed. Do you have other maps you've worked on?
