First successful art request, for . DJ Shows off his new Stetson hat and fancy new belt buckle, specially made so he can wear it on his favorite red speedo. (Gets a bit hot down in Texas for an arctic fox, after all.)This is one I'm definitely going to have to colorize.

Aj yes, a request... well, I did five requests for DJ, and when I asked for something in return, even PAID for a small reference-sketch commission... Well, I keep waiting for three years now. I am just stunned that so many people draw for him, and when I talk to some,they all do tell me they hope to get something in return, naturally. Fact is they never do, it would explain why mostly newcomers in the fandom fulfill his requests.
Mostly, DJ is not even answering or commenting the stories or artworks his characters are involved in. Like, I do not see him anywhere here, right?

Besides, before someone states that I was just envious or some backdriven fanboy, I chat with DJ often, we are compatriots, I even got his adress, and he is a nice guy, but somehow he manages to get a TON of free stuff without doing anything for it in return. And this, I have to confess, is disgusting me a tad...

Though silence may lead one to wonder what was done to offend, he has by my standards satisfactorily shown his appreciation by featuring this in Anthro Muscle, as well as his own personal favorites. Also, I did this for myself as much as for anyone else. Darkfox's detailed anatomy is enormously helpful in terms of the practice it gave me, and of course is a lot of fun to draw. And lets not discount all the joy from DJ's fans!

Well, if you are content with that, then surely it is alright. But honestly, adding something to favorites is just one click, it takes a mere second. And the Anthro Muscle site posts tons of muscle furries, it is not such a privilege. Just saying, if you are happy with that, so am I, I just know enough enerved people (mostly german like me) who made something for DJ as gift, request or whatever and got hardly any thanks, while he is not even drawing art he is paid for. Do not expect him to be that active on your site, he does not on FurvusWolfs, and this guy is casting DJ in almost every story he writes.

This is true. There are hundreds if not thousands of artists who have done DJ Darkfox. With Demian's level of fanage, it would be impossible for him to attend to everyone's demands all the time.
