The Mad Grenader is the hero of my story and the best friend-turned-arch nemesis of the Nightstalker.  

He is based on my closest friend.

Haha he's actually inspired by a lot of people, but Vegeta was never really one of them.  However, now that you say that, I can totally see a ton of similarities between the two of them!
