Jedi Spirit and Master
----------------------------

Deep in the Temple of the Jedi, Master Yoda, Master Rapunzell and Darth Cimmeri fought in an unfair mismatch. Master Rapunzell and her sister Darth Cimmeri assaulted the Jedi Master, but did not expect him to have survived as long as he was. Master Yoda, not even breaking a sweat, was in rare form, jumping and spinning through and against attacks.

In a hard slice, Cimmeri slashed clear through the glass of the large window that comprised most of the wall. The glass exploded and it along with the lifeless corpse of Master Diji was sucked from the room due ot the high elevation that it sat. The cape the fallen traitor had been wearing snagged into some glass that remained steadfast and his lifeless form dangled outside of view.

Yoda, taken off guard, was nearly blown out as well, gripping at the last moment the edge of the windowsill and never let go of his lightsaber. Darth Cimmeri and Master Rapunzell managed to steady themselves and began to approach the Jedi Master in his moment of grave peril.

"I am greatly sorry, Master Yoda." Master Rapunzell said loudly, speaking over the howling wind. "But over the last century I have noticed the Jedi becoming weak..." Master Yoda narrowed his eyes while listening to Rapunzell's monologe.

"And you do not live a long as I have without becoming one with the Force. I know the true will of all creation. And it is unhappy with the misuse of the devine powers granted mortals such as yourself and I. And sadly, the future it speaks of would appear to not include yourself or the Jedi. The great prophecy of the dark one who will bring the galaxy to its very knees..."

Master Rapunzell was cut off by Darth Cimmeri, in her voice that was not unlike Gozer. "Our master demands that all be erased. To begin again. To purge the soil that taints the blood we all share."

"But in so doing.." Master Yoda huffed, tightening his grip and pulling himself up to his feet. He steadied himself against the blowing winds. "..creation of a new era will the dark one began. Know of the prophecy, I do. Ancient beyond my time it is. In whom you call master, Darth Horus, your faith misplaced is. Nothing more is he, than a-" Yoda spoke before getting cut off verbally by Darth Cimmeri.

"We know what he is." Spoke Darth Cimmeri. "Because my sister and I-" Master Rapunzell brought her index finger to her lips and hushed the Sith as she looked to her.

"He does not need to know this. We must quickley bring an end to.."

Outside a loud round of Lightsaber blades could be heard. The blinding flashes could be seen from far away. A loud thump was soon heard, and except for the sound of one ligthsaber blade, it became eerily silent inside the room.

On Tatooine bitter enemies had their lightsabers locked together, Master Darren having rushed Darth Horus. They glared into each others eyes, both holding an angered snarl over their lips. The blades quivered as they attempted to pass through each other, the powerful energies coursing through them letting out sparks between the weilders of the Force. Darth Horus made the first move, pulling away and arcing a backhand swing at Master Darren who parried and returned with a backhand of his own.

The two crossed their swords at an increasingly fast pace. The hums and electric static of the lightsabers were no more than a pitiful distraction to the arcs of light that danced between the Sith Lord and Jedi Master.

The wind howled, thrown into the sky by the Force as it warped the world around the pair. Dust and debris where passing through the air as if gravity had gone mad, leaving aloft a great deal of random objects. The nearby Jedi, victorious in their duels with the Sith, found themselves slipping from consiousness due to the strangling hold Darth Horus held upon them all.

Master Darren exchanged stabs, slices and smashes with his lightsaber with his arch nemesis. Even he began to feel himself begining to lose contact with the ground and feel lighter. Just then, he managed a slice into the chest of Darth Horus who was unphased. The lightsaber slid off and the Sith remained unscathed. However upon reaching the shoulder, the metal gave way, slicing open.

Darth Horus hissed and repelled back a step, eyes starting to glow more intense. Master Darren felt the Force rattle and regained his footing. It was less than a second but it was enough to hit the Jedi Master with a revelation.

Darth Horus attempted a hard hack into Master Darren, who pushed the blade away and off to the side. He quickley returned a hard fist into Darth Horus, right in the jaw. The Force shook hard, the choking Jedi were able to breathe for but a mere moment before quickley finding themselves gasping for breath again.

Aside from the intense sharp pain of his wrist breaking, Master Darren was shocked to see skin over his knuckles. Darth Horus, totally off guard stumbled a step and roared aloud, partially missing a quarter of his face, exposing a mechanical jaw line on the side of his face. He snapped back with a fist of his own, taking Master Darren down in one shot.

Master Rei was witness to this and would have screamed out for Master Darren had she the ability to do so. Her only instincts were to crawl towards him, fighting the numbness her extremities began to feel. Her eyes, glassing over, struggled to stay open. Only ten feet from Master Darren, Master Rei's eyes rolled up to the back of her head and she passed out.

Master Darren, hitting the ground, quickley flipped back up onto his feet. He spit out his gold crowned tooth and let forth a powerful scream, as if harnessing all his power into a single action. The Sith Lord and Jedi Master's lightsabers clashed quickley once more, but in less than ten attacks Darth Horus was parried again to the side and Master Darren arced up his blade hard taking out Darth Horus' left hand up to his forearm as well as his lightsaber, which split in half. The raw energy inside expelled outwards in a blinding spark that temporarily took Master Darren's sight.

Darth Horus roared in pain and the Force quaked. The hold he had on the Jedi broke, and they were free to breathe once more. Master Rei slowly blinked her eyes awake and coughed hard. Regaining her senses she shot a look upward in time to see Darth Horus rear up his remaining hand and plowed a collosal bolt of Force Lightning into the body of Master Darren.

Master Darren was sent spinning backwards in a hellish spiral, several feet beyond that of Master Rei. Master Rei struggled to get up and pulled forward her Lightsabers into her hands. Darth Horus stumbled about breifly, his left arm contorted, pieces of the machinework that it was folded and extended. He was using the Force itself to reconfigure his own mechanical body, using now broken piping and wires as fingers for a nightmarish make-shift hand.

Master Rei bound towards Darth Horus shouting aloud, "I'll finish you myself!"
Darth Horus slid his eyes upwards from under his brow and growled. As Rei closed in, begining to enter a swing with her blades, Darth Horus stopped her cold in her tracks. Master Rei felt as if a powerful vice had taken hold of her body. She gasped hard as her fingers grasped her lightsabers tightly.

Darth Horus lifted her from the ground and moved her off to the side so that he may see Master Darren charging him. Darth Horus growled and lifted his patchwork left arm to the Jedi Master and unleashed a torrent of Force Lightning. Master Darren responded by blocking with his lightsaber. So powerful was the electrical storm that washed over the blade that it actually began to push him backwards.

"LET GO OF HER!" Shouted Master Darren, wincing away from the sparks and harsh light that was before him. "Let go of her or so help me I'll-"

"You'll do.....nothing!" Shouted Darth Horus, who scanned his eyes back to Master Rei. Tears rolled from her eyes as she felt as if her very bones were being crushed under the powerful grip Darth Horus held upon her. Darth Horus eyed between the two of his would be attackers and let a dark smirk slowly cross over what was left of his lips.

Master Rei shrieked aloud, gaining the attention of the other Jedi, who were just starting to regain their bearings. Her arms began to move without her will. Then her legs. Soon, the sounds of bones cracking and breaking, joints popping and ligaments tearing. The poor young Jedi Master screamed until her voice cracked, raw from her vocal chords shredding apart. She moved along the ground, step by step in unnatural fashion. Master Darren, not witness to this had no idea of what was happening to Rei. He could only hear the screaming and the blinding flashes. With each move he made, Darth Horus simply altered the power of his lightning.

And it was in an instant where time stood still. Darth Horus released his force Lightning from Master Darren. The Jedi slowly glanced toward the trio. Each of them confused at what was going on, still dazed by their suffocation. Master Darren opened his eyes and took in a deep breath.

Master Rei spun through the air and landed on her feet before Master Darren. And in a fraction of a second that felt like forever, the two looked at each other, Master Rei in fright and Master Darren in confusion.

Two green lightsabers flashed about at Master Darren, who blocked them away. Master Rei unloaded a volley of death at him, struggling to get words out.

"What are you doing?!" Screamed Master Darren, blocking Master Rei's attacks. "Stop this at once! Have you lost your mind?!"

"It's..not...me!!" Is all Master Rei managed to let out before her left arm was sliced free from her body by Master Darren who was simply defending himself. She screamed aloud, "Stop! Stop! It's not me! Please help me! Stop!!!" Master Rei continued with one arm to assault Master Darren.

Master Darren, having fought with his nemesis for ages, could feel this fighting technique and knew who was really attacking him. He eyed Darth Horus between strikes. Darth Horus, glarring back at the Jedi Master was smiling darkly, moving behind Rei and force pulling the lightsaber from her detached arm to his hand. Master Darren, amid the swirling black sky covered in lightning, the shifting terrain and the Force screaming in fear, finally realized that he was in way over his head. Darth Horus was far more powerful than he ever imagined. As if he was not just one with the force, but was the force itself.

Soon Darth Horus joined the fight, Master Rei and himself striking at Master Darren. Master Darren started to step backwards, taking each attack and blocking or parrying. The other Jedi finally noticed what was transpiring and were shocked to see Master Rei, striking at her own.

Master Rei, tears in her eyes continued to attack Master Darren as Darth Horus increased his strikes against the Jedi Master. Master Darren's attention was swiftly turned to the Sith Lord as he was the bigger threat. The two exchanged a volley of attacks as Master Darren lost sight of Rei.

Darth Horus faked a swing at Master Darren, who responded with a defensive block to thin air. And in that instant felt the white hot blade of a lightsaber pass through his body. He gasped hard, looking down at the glowing green blade. Master Darren fell to his knees, the lightsaber cutting through his body and out his shoulder. Master Rei screamed in terror. The Jedi were stunned.

Darth Horus smirked at his old nemesis and brought the tip of his blade to Master Darren's chin. And then in tears, Master Rei swiped his head clear from his body. The Force trembled, and the grip on Master Rei was broken.

The overzealous Jedi, still hot from their ordeal, charged. But to her horror, Rei realized they were looking at her and not Darth Horus. Darth Horus chuckled evily and pulled Rei to her as he glanced to the sky.

"Get the traitor!" Screamed Master Snoogans, unaware of the Eternal Grace's incoming. When the enraged Jedi saw what was upon them they kept their distance. The ship landed hard and came to a sliding halt, running over the corpse of Darth Asphixa.

Darth Horus, knowing full well what it was, saw a service hatch open and out fell Darth Sarz, seriously injured but alive. The Sith Lord snarled darkly and Force pulled the anthromorphic Sith to himself.

"Lord Sazs!" He exclaimed. Darth Horus was no fool, he needed as many Sith he could muster as he was now outnumbered. Darth Sarz weakly smiled at Darth Horus.

"Mission...accomplished..." is all she muttered out before fainting. Darth Horus took the opportunity to make a run for it, both women in each arm. The Jedi, having made it around the ship waved their fists at the trio that were leaving.

"You are expelled ...Rei! You are no welcome in the halls of the Jedi you traitorous scum!!" "Get back here bitch!" "How could you side with that monster?!" They called out. Master Rei slipped from conciousness, drifting into a black world as she was taken over the shoulder on Darth Horus.

The Jedi gathered around the fallen Master Darren and lamented. If they only knew the rest of the damage that the Sith did to the rest of the Jedi. Damage like that of the Jedi Temple, that lay in ruins and death thanks to Rapunzell and her sister Cimmeri.

The door creeked open, a bloodied Yoda hobbled out, gripping his side. He looked back into the room, there Master Rapunzell and Darth Cimmeri lay lifeless, cut to pieces by each other in a freak accident. Master Yoda took an opportunity, and survived.

Yoda made it down the long hallway, passing the dead Jedi he once taught the ways of the Force. With a shake of his head, a regretful sadness swelled from within. A thick black cloud slipped into the room behind him where lay the losers of the duel. It swirled around and slowly began to create the shape of a humanoid.

A small black tendril slithered from part of Darth Cimmeri's dismembered corpse and in a rather unatural motion, attached itself into an exposed bone of Master Rapunzell's. Slowly..the small piece of body dragged together...ever so slowly....

A dark, sinister voice echoed out to the forming mass of body parts....

".......arise......Darth......Chimera........."
